The Return of Divine Powers. Holding on by a thread. Pt 2.)
"Oh Mahzu......"
Sogil said as she continued to care for him.
"You where always strong, always trying put yourself last, always being strong, sticking out your chest even when it was hard, always was there in a pickle and always shinning. The odds aren't even in your favor, and now everyone you fought so barely for, aren't even around help, not a single soul. It not that they owe you anything if not much, I'm more surprised nobody showed up. I've watched you from the Arch, I just wish you would've at least saved some energy for yourself in the end..."
Sogil said.
"It seems so real, when the going gets tough nobody shows up, but it better you see the magnitude of the reality surrounding then believing in a lie. And I assume even some of your allies have become your enemies unknowingly, but even now all that remains in the past.."
Xezu then clasped his head as he had a vision which felt like
Deja vu.
Sogil placed her hand on Xezu's hand.
"At least. Long as I'm here you have nothing to worry about. I love you Xezu and nothing will ever change that. You're a great person and deserve great things. I've absorbed you and even some of your very close pals would agree, yes? Yes."
Sogil said.
Xezu eyes moved slightly, then Yomai rushed in and hugged him.
"Xezu! Are you okay!"
When he felt her hug and saw her desperate concern his eyes came back to life.
"Y.....Yomai.....!...."
Yomai cried.
"T...thank goodness you're okay....."
Yomai said. Yomai looked at Sogil,
"Y... you must be Sogil..
Thank you for keeping him safe..!
Sogil looked at her.
"No need to thank me. I know who cares about him and who doesn't. I trust you. Although, there are those who also care but don't trust themselves anymore. However, my words remain few."
Sogil mentioned.
Yomai examined Sogil and began to inspect her.
"Is it true you're not human? How do you take that shape? How long have you been alive? How old are you?"
Sogil blinked.
"I'm as old as I look, How's that for a answer?"
Sogil said.
Sogil and Yomai both blinked as Xezu then again looked faint.
".........is..... is there anyway I can help?..."
Yomai asked.
"You knew the real him, remind him of himself, he fought in so many battles, he probably lost sight of who he was and how he was helping before all this happened"
Sogil said.
".......that might help but I think of the source the problem isn't his identity."
Yomai said.
Yomai placed her hand on his chest.
"The real issue is a broken heart"
Yomai stated.
"Oh......eh....well.... you see.... that kind of wound isn't a simple thing to heal...."
Sogil said..
"Not only that it the way he was wounded, the injury itself maybe healed but the emotional pain of betrayal? Well"
Yomai said.
Yomai sat down with him.
"Please... wake up... Xezu...."
Yomai said.
"You....you can't let this win you over... there people that do care about you and I'm one of them.... remember yourself.."
Yomai said holding his hand.
"It was you who helped me become a Divine Knight in my time of trouble."
Yomai implied
"It's...getting late Yomai? Is it?"
Sogil said.
"Please pardon me Sogil but just for awhile can we be alone?"
Yomai asked. Sogil nodded and departed from the room. Then Yomai sat in front of him.
"Shall I remind you, how Divine Knights are again?..."
Yomai said.
