Hajime falls to his knees, Amai still tied his back with Feizu's cape. I rush towards them, but as soon as my feet leave the ground, I see another villain come up behind Hajime with a sword of blue lightning.
"No! HAJIME!" I scream his name, yell it as loud as I can, flying as fast as I can, but I am not nearly fast enough to save both Hajime and myself. A sad smile appears on my face as I reach my consciousness out to Hajime, the familiar warmth of his mind flooding through me.
Hajime, I'm sorry. His voice appears in my head, and tears flood my eyes.

What!? What are you talking about!? He quickly realizes what I mean, and I see him hunch over, tears flooding out of his eyes. Akio, no! You don't have to die for me! I smile even wider, and he looks up at me. Our eyes meet for what's probably the last time, and I smile with all my teeth.
Yes, I do Hajime. I have to, because I love you. Silence comes from Hajime's mind as even more tears fall off his face.

Akio... Tears fall from my eyes as I fly even faster towards him, accepting my fate. People always say that when you are faced with death, your life flashes before your eyes to try and find a way out of the situation; but now, faced with death, it isn't my life that flashes before my eyes, but all my memories of Hajime. I have accepted my fate, and so has my mind. It is remembering, not protecting.

Akio, I love you too. I smile, a single sob escaping from my throat.
Good. I launch myself in front of Hajime. Just as the sword is about to be thrust into his chest, it goes through my heart. Mr. Kaze quickly appears and get's a hold of the villain, knocking him out. Hajime picks me up into his arms, his tears falling onto my face. I look up at him, meeting his beautiful, ice-blue eyes for one last time. I try my best to smile for him.
"I love you, Hajime." I take one last breath and close my eyes, never to wake up again.
