Remember Me [Yato x Reader]

"Hey, what's got you all twisted up?" Yato gets close to your face, trying to figure your expression out.

You blush lightly and step back. "N-nothing. I was just over thinking." He wraps his arm around you.

"You can tell me anything." You scrunch your nose up in disgust to hid how happy you are. Why are you this happy? You can't stand the guy.

"Please remove your sweaty hands from my body." He freezes in shock and you use that opportunity to move away. "I told you I'm fine." You then left him, a dark aura of insecurity around him.

"Am I really that sweaty?" You hear him chant as you turn a corner. You were hoping that he would come after you, that he would keep you company. No! Stop (Y/N)! Stop thinking like this! He will only want Hiyori. Besides, it's forbidden for a Regalia and god to be together.

After walking for a while, you think of the story. You wonder if you can conjure up your own sword. What would it's name be?

"Hina." A voice whispers to you. You gasp, glancing around. A figure rises out of the water in the form of your old god.

"Mei-gami." You whisper. The water form of Mei smiles at you, touching your face. You can only feel the coolness of the water.

"I'm sorry that you have had a hard time. I wish I could have saved the others. Please forgive me." You just nod. You were completely speechless. Mei is here! "You must listen closely. I was given that power as well."

"Mei-gami? We're related?" You blink fast, not believing this.

"I am. This is why I could name you. We share the same blood and the same curse. But I was turned into a god before a Regalia, unlike you. (Y/N). You must not use the sword. You must not call upon your name. The blade brings upon a mass of evilness and darkness. Not even a god of war would be able to defeat you." Her figure starts to waver. "I'm almost past my power. I will tell you your Regalia name. It's up to you whether or not you heed my warning." She slides down to your ear, whispering a name you have known your whole life, yet never realized it. "Please be careful, my dear Hina." Her form crumbles, becoming the lifeless water it was before.

"I will." You vow then walk back to Kofuku's house.

I don't even know how Mei could conjure up that much power when she isn't even alive anymore. Oh well xD
