Bound Through Time (Douxie x reader)

Killahead: Part One

{Yn POV}

"Hey, that's my boyfriend you're operating on!" Claire shouts as she leads us out of the portal and into a rock cavern

I notice Jim was laying on a table in front of us

Douxie had filled me in on the plan. We were going to try and ally ourselves with the trolls

Magnus had wanted to join us, but I had him stay back to heal.

"Oh! Humans! Sound the alarm!" Vendel says to the other green troll in the room, panicking

"Hold! Please, Vendel of Dwoza. I humble myself before you. Camelot needs your help," The king says as he kneels in front of the troll

-Time Skip-

Douxie and I are trying to peek through the armor of the knights in front of us, trying to get a good view of the negotiations.

I find a good spot and usher Douxie over, he squishes his head next to mine and we look through to see Arthur and Vendel speaking

"Gunmar the Black's swarm of Gumm-Gumms are ready to strike. The monsters seek vengeance on both our kind," Arthur says to Vendel

"And after all you've done, you expect us trolls to fight in this war for you?" Vendel questions, turning away from the king

"No, not for me; with me, as equals," Arthur tries to reason, reaching out and grabbing Vendel's arm

"Glorkus me!" Vendel says in disbelief

"I vow, if we win this war, we shall live in peace," Arthur tells him

"Ha!" I hear from behind me just as a rock bounces off one of our knight's heads

"Hey!" The knight shouts at the troll

I stand up and look over to see the green troll from the dungeon break up in the rafters.

Two other trolls begin to speak with her and I turn back towards Arthur and Vendel

"Gumm-Gumm's are terrifying warriors while we are but humble gravel miners. How do you expect us to ever defeat Gunmar?" Vendel questions

"We will give you a secret weapon," Arthur tells him

A knight near us blocks our view of the negotiations, so Claire, Jim, Douxie, and I walk back into the caves

"You really think they can work this out?" Jim asks

"They have to, or everyone in Camelot and Dwoza are doomed," Douxie tells him

"Then so is saving history. Great," Claire says

"I assure you, all will be fine once I've completed my amulet," Merlin says as he walks up to us. He looks over at Jim, "So, this is the once and future Trollhunter I've heard of. May I have a word, alone?"

"Um, sure. Be right back," Jim tells us as he follows Merlin

Claire looks over at us, silent asking what Merlin wanted to talk about, but we just shrugged our shoulders

Though, I did have my suspicions

I hear a roar come from somewhere in the distance and I look around but don't see anything

I shrug it off and turn back just as Claire and Douxie start walking away

"Come on, we are going to see what Merlin and Jim are speaking about," Douxie says to me

I run up to them and walk alongside Douxie as we head through the cave passage

"Thanks for trying, Merl," I hear Jim say as we approach
