Raenna walked in the reception, looking around. A waiter passed her and offered a drink and she gladly accepted it.
She silently sipped it as she walked through the crowd of people. Some greeted her some merely smiled. She let out a sigh and sat down making him laugh.
She turned to him and propped her chin on her palm and pouted at him. "What's gotten you like this?" he asked as he pulled her chair closer to him.
She shrugged and looked at her brother who was dancing around with his friends.
"I feel tired." She muttered. Jack chuckled as she laid her head on his shoulders. The young woman had just arrived yesterday seeing as it was her graduation the day before therefore she was extremely jet lagged but she was not missing Sienna and Dream's wedding.
He rubbed her back and she sighed in relief. A year in their relationship, they endured some months a part and some together.
Jack tried his very best in visiting her seeing as she couldn't leave the country that much because she was finishing up her uni work.
Raenna promised multiple times that she would be the one visiting him soon and that was what will happen. After the wedding of the century for the gaming and streaming community as their group would call it, she was staying with Jack for a while before going back to America and fix everything before moving in with Ranboo in his UK flat.
In the year of them dating, they did nothing but troll the internet. Hinting and flirting online making Ranboo to join in some bits, acting as though the protective brother. Only feeding into their fans speculations more.
After telling their friends they were together more than a year ago, the group pretty much moved their teasing from Sapnap and George towards Jack.
Jack wasn't phased, he expected it seeing how they acting towards the others when they started dating. In the end he focused on content creation and Raenna.
He supported her in her dreams, as she studied Psychology and uploading covers and releasing songs with the help of Wilbur and Dream. He was there for her first song drop and promised to be there for the rest of it.
Raenna couldn't be happier with Jack. Ranboo noticed this making him more comfortable in letting them date. This eased the worried state of Raenna, she didn't want to cause a rift between the two most important people in her life. So when she found out that Ranboo gave Jack his blessing, she was utterly thankful.
She had her eyes closed as Jack hummed to the song that was playing as he played with the tips of her hair when someone tapped her shoulder.
Looking back she saw Tala and smiled at her, "Sorry to interrupt really but, Sienna and Dream is ready for their first dance. It's your cue." The older girl said with a warm smile.
Raenna had met the rest of the girls through Sienna. Tala was Karl's girlfriend who was very much sweet and had planned the wedding with Jen, Sapnap's girlfriend while Daisy was the maid of honor and Gabi, Wilbur's girlfriend was a bridesmaid.
The eldest Michaels chuckled and nodded, "Thanks star. I'll be up the stage." She said and the Tala nodded before excusing herself.
Raenna turned to Jack who was already smiling at her proudly. She snickered and pushed his face away making him laugh.
She stood up and Jack kissed her hand. "You'll do beautiful Rae." He said. She giggled and nodded before patting his cheek and walking up the stage where she nodded at the band.
She tapped the mic before adjusting the stand. Wilbur nodded at her and started to announce the newly weds' first dance.
Raenna sat on the stool and started to hum as Dream led Sienna to the dance floor and the band started to play the tune of the chosen song of the couple.
As Raenna sang on stage with her eyes closed, Jack watched her with utter emotion. He can't help but feel proud. He thanked himself that he went back and visit the burger joint alone.
He wouldn't know what he would be doing if he didn't. He probably wouldn't had the girl if he didn't.
Life would have been entirely different if he didn't.
As the chorus dropped, Raenna opened her eyes and they landed on Jack's. She felt her lips smile, she wouldn't have admitted it before but Jack brought a different kind of happiness in his life.
Raenna didn't have a sad story or a devastating past. She had everything she needed, a family and loving brother but Jack brought so much in her life.
The adventure and support she wanted, the undescribable feeling that he brought and the promise of a fun filled future.
Life would have been entirely boring without him.
They stood there, attending the wedding of one of their great friends but one thing was sure in their heads, falling for each other was one of the best things that happened to them ever.
