When I turn from my spot on the kitchen chair I don't see Tom on the sofa, so I stand up and go find him.
He's not in his study so since it's passed eleven pm I walk to our bedroom and see that the sheets are pulled back and the bathroom door is not completely closed.
I open it and he's brushing his teeth while he looks at me through the big mirror
"Hi, make me some space?" I say and he takes a step aside.
I wash my face, put cream on and brush my teeth too.
"I'll wait you in bed love" he says kissing my shoulder
I smile at him before going back to my business, I do as quickly as I can so I can join him under the warm sheets.

"So...next week is my birthday" he says once my head is rested on his chest "and then comes your the week after"
"Exactly, what do you want to do on your birthday, are you free?"
"I am and I was thinking we could go to Stonehenge, have you ever been there?"
"Nope, you?"
"Actually no. And then dinner at my mum's of course with yours too"
"Of course, that's tradition!"
"And for yours I'm actually busy darling" he says with a sad tone in his voice "I'm so so sorry but I can't postpone it" he continues hugging me a bit tighter
"It's ok, what do you have to do?"
"The cast has been invited in the biggest orphanage here in London because apparently after seeing the trailer of the Avengers they all decided to go out on Halloween dressed as the avengers and a few kids as Loki, most girls were little black widows and even Frigga's. So the producers decided to send us for a surprise visit"
"Oh! That will definitely make their day!"
"Actually..."
"What?"
"I think you can come with us"
"How? I'm not part of the cast..." I say looking up at him
"No, but you can face paint, you could transform them in anything they want to be for the day"
"That's a good idea! I'd be more than happy"
"And I'd be happy if you can come and so we also can spend the day together"
He kisses me softly and promises to text the producers in the morning and see if that can be arranged, but for now we need our beauty sleep!
