chapter 10.

—Next day,11pm
Me and Kaeya were about to get ready for a cuddle session but Kaeya suggested we go outside a little bit so I obviously accepted.I hate saying no to him and making him sad.We exit the house,looking around at Liyue.Everything is so calm during night.So..quiet.I gently take Kaeya's hand as we start walking.Kaeya looks at me confused and a bit nervous but I hold his hand tighter trying to assure him it's okay.Since we are on Mountain Aozang,I walk with Kaeya to the lake while holding hands.Once next to the lake,I sit down on the grass as Kaeya does the same,sitting down next to me with his legs crossed.I crawl in his arms,perfectly fitting between his crossed legs.I slowly place my hand on his cheek as I rest my head in the crook of his neck. "Kaeya.." I whisper.He looks down at me with his pretty eye. "Do you..regret being here with me? After all..I kidnapped you.." I say in a sad tone.Kaeya moves some hair from my face and kisses my forehead. "No Y/n.I don't regret being here with you.Of course,I still miss Mondstadt but..it's not bad with you here neither" he says.

I smile as I place my head on his chest,listening to his calm heartbeat."I love you..so so much" I whisper loud enough for him to hear. "I love you too Y/n" he says.We stay like this in silence,looking at the beautiful night sky that lights over Tevyat."We should go back inside Y/n.It's getting late" Kaeya says after some time. "Mmh but you're so warm" I say,my voice muffled in his strong chest. "I know but we can go cuddle inside" he says.I look up at him and I nod.He smiles as we slowly get up and we walk towards our home while holding hands again.Over the silence that was between us,I suddenly hear some..familiar yet unsettling sounds.Footsteps.I look at Kaeya who was already looking at me and we curiously look behind.Oh no..Lumine,Klee,Lisa and Diluc were approaching.I hold Kaeya's hand tighter as he looks at me scared."Kaeya! Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" Klee asks. "Y/n.Give us Kaeya right now" Lumine says.

Diluc starts walking towards us and before I could react Kaeya's hand wasn't holding mine anymore.Diluc was dragging Kaeya away from me.No no no no..this can't be happening..Kaeya is mine.He said with his own mouth that he doesn't regret being here with me.He said he loves me! He's mine. 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙚. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞. Mɪɴᴇ. O⃫n⃫l⃫y⃫ m⃫i⃫n⃫e⃫.  I get out my sword before walking towards them.Kaeya looks at me scared and mouths a 'please no'.I look at him with loving eyes as electricity goes all through my hands. "Y/n! Stay back or you will regret it" Lumine says. I stop walking for a second as I stare at my Kaeya. "Diluc" Kaeya finally said.Diluc continues walking. "Diluc wait" Kaeya repeats.Diluc finally stops and turns to look at him. "Y/n didn't hurt me.I've been here for 10 days I think and Y/n did not hurt me at all.She fed me,gave me clothes,took care of me.You may not believe it,but it's true" Kaeya says.

All of them look at me without any expression on their faces as Kaeya continues. "Me and Y/n actually had fun those days since I'm here.She took her time with me,didn't hurt me,and made sure I'm always okay" he says. "But Kaeya.Did you forget that we lost 3 innocent and important people because of her?" Lisa says. "No Lisa.I didn't forget.I know that very well.And I know that I should hate her because of this.I know.But..I actually don't.I..love her"  Kaeya says causing everyone's eyes to widen. "Kaeya do you hear what you're saying? How can you love her after what she did?" Lumine says.No one said anything after that.Silence.
"Kaeya.You have to choose.And fast.Us,or her" Diluc says.Kaeya looks at his adoptive brother,frozen after his words.Then he turns his head and looks at me.

Kaeya looks like he's about to cry as he keeps looking at Diluc then at me.He slowly walks towards his brother as I look at him with tears streaming down my face.When he's in front of his brother,Kaeya wraps his hands around him and says "I'm sorry" .Diluc looks at him and hesitantly wraps his hands around him as well. "It's..okay Kaeya.Let's go back to Mondsta-" Diluc stopped as his adoptive brother got away from the hug and started walking towards me. "K-Kaeya?" Lisa and Lumine ask at the same time.I look at him as he stays in front of me and gently places his hand on my cheek,his thumb wiping my fresh tears.He grabs my hand and turns to look at the 4 people from Mondstadt."I made a choice.I'm sorry" he says to them as he gently grabs my face and crashes our lips together.My eyes widen as I melt against his soft,sweet,mint flavored lips.

We slowly get away as we rest our foreheads against each other,both breathing heavy.Kaeya looks one more time at his once friends and grabs my hand,intertwining our fingers together."Let's go home Kaeya" .Once inside our house,I close the door and Kaeya had tears running down his pretty face.I hesitantly take off his eye patch as I stare at his beautiful eyes,wiping his tears. "My precious boy..don't cry please.It hurts me to see you like this" I say as I wrap my hands around him. "Y-Y/n they-they probably hate me now" he says as he sobs in my shoulder. "Sh sh Kaeya..it's okay don't worry.I'm here and I'm never leaving you.I love you so much.Come on.Let's go to bed" I say as he nods.

—Kaeya's pov
I sigh as a hand pats me on the shoulder.I turn around as I look at Diluc who nods to me.Lisa,Lumine and Klee smile at me as I watch Y/n walk towards 'our' home.She still thinks I'm there. "Let's go home Kaeya" I hear her say as she acts like she's holding my hand.The others were already leaving towards Mondstadt as I continue staring at Y/n with tears streaming down my face.I watch her until she entered in our home and 'hugged' me.She still thinks I'm there with her..

"I love you.." I whisper but..it's a bit too late now.
