Chapter-23"I Am Sorry!"

"Rudra?" Hina asked and Aarohi look down, not knowing what to say to answer her questions. But she knew she couldn't hide anything from her so she decided to say the truth rather than giving false hopes.

"I am trying his mobile, but he isn't picking up the call but I messaged him your condition." she said it in low voice. Hina turned her face to other side trying not to show her tears to Aarohi, she knew that he won't pick up the call but in a corner of her heart she had a hope that he will come to her today or tomorrow but now knowing he didn't care about her even after knowing her condition, the soft corner he had in her heart started to turn into anger and hate. Suddenly something strike her mind, which made her tense.

"What did doctor said about my condition?" she asked but her tone was bit different, it was kind of suspicious, which made Aarohi confused.

"I haven't talked to him yet about it but why are you suspecting it?"

Her answer made one thing clear in Hina's mind that she hasn't read the note and her secret is safe. But she can only hope that the doctor won't tell to her mother.

After some talks Aarohi came out, as the nurse came and she had to give Hina medicines, which Zoya had brought, she wanted to stay with Hina but she knew that right now Hina needed to share her true  feelings not the ones she shared with her to make her feel that her daughter is okay, when she isn't! A daughter's love for her mother! And her mother knows she only shared her true feelings to Aarohi, so she left Hina on responsibility of hospital staff and Aarohi.

'What is Hina and doctor hiding? And why?' thought Aarohi sitting on the bench, which was in front of  Hina's ward. She definitely didn't show that she got suspicious of Hina and the doctor's behavior but she had noticed everything, and god knows why she wasn't getting good vibes from it.

She decided to visit the doctor once so she stood up and started walking on the corridors to reach the doctor's cabin. Her steps came to a halt in front of the board on the door 'Dr. Adhik Shrivastav' the doctor who is treating Hina. She knocked the door and entered when she got permission.

Adhik was shocked to see Aarohi, but shrugging his shock he asked her to sit. He knew a very important part of the suicide attempt of Hina, but he very well knew that if he said the fact then it would be a big problem for Hina if she stayed alive! He had to release the fact that Hina's survival chances were very less, she could only survive if she hadn't loosed the hope of living the life again and  saying the fact could make her loose her interest in living the life again and that's what any doctor won't want!

But those three people knew that she couldn't battle with death, but had kept hopes. Which were only to be broken.

"Yes Aarohi?" Adhik asked breaking the awkward silence in the room.

"Ummm, look mujhe gol-gol baate athi nahi hai, toh aap bhi saaf-saaf bataiye ki baat kya hai."

She asked him very clearly and he understood the meaning behind her words and what she wanted. He was definitely sure that Hina and Aarohi were close and maybe Hina's all the secrets must have been known to her. But yet he was a doctor he couldn't give his patient's information to anyone.

"Aap Hina ke lagti kya hai?"

"Mein Hina kiribi hu, aur aap mujhe usse judi saari health complications bata sakte hai!"
