"I'm going to get some blankets, it gets super cold later." Billy said and walked off. Shortly after, a red headed girl walked out. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw you.
"Hey." I said with a smile, she waved and smiled as well. You recall her getting out of Billy's car a few mornings and going off to the middle school.
"Are you his sister?" I asked.
"It's complicated." She smiled.
"Are you Lynn?" She asks.
"Yeah. How'd you know?" You asked just a bit caught off guard.
"He's talked about you, a lot." She smiled. You felt giddy again and soon became flustered.
"Does he now?" You said with a laugh.
"Mhm, he's never talked about a girl like that. Plus it makes him nicer to me, so your good in my book." She said still smiling. She walked over to me and put her hand out for me to shake.
"I'm Max."
"Nice to meet you." You said with a smile and shook her hand.

"I see you've met Max." Billy said as he walked out with a few blankets.
"I was just about to go, nice to meet you Lynn." She said and smiled.
"Nice to meet you to Max." You said and smiled in return. You were seated on the couch and Billy came and sat next to you. He put the blanket over both of you and started up the movie.
"Your sister is nice." You said smiling.
"She's not my sis- well it's complicated." He said.
"That's what she said to."

You both turned back to the movie and after a bit laid your head on his shoulder. He rested his head on yours and you continued to watch the movie in silence. When it ended you were on the edge of falling asleep. He nudged your arm.
"Hey, we can go in my room if you want, you look like your about to fall asleep." He said. You nodded and got up. You both got some blankets and head off to his room.

You both laid down in the bed, it was small so you were really close in proximity. He moved his hand around your waist, you breath hitched but soon it felt normal. He fell asleep before you, and you played with his hair for a bit before drifting off to sleep yourself.

Suddenly you woke up to him panicking.
"Hey what's going on?" You sleepily said. He noticed you were awake and look relieved.
"This sounds weird but I need you to hide in the closet, could you?" He asked.
"Could you tell me why?"
"My- my dad is home, he is going to freak." He simply said. You had never seen him this worked up over anything. You grabbed his shoulders and reassured him it would be ok. He kissed you for a minute and then his head perked up, the front door was open.
"Shit." He said. You went to the closet and hid. He sat on his bed until his dad slammed the door open. Billy wasn't visibly scared, like ever. But it was different when his dad came in the room. You couldn't quite hear what they were talking about but you jumped a bit when he pinned Billy against the wall. Billy's jaw clenched and he made direct eye contact with his father. Of course you had to be at the perfect angle to have to see this unfold.

His dad left after a minute and Billy slid down the wall and sat on the floor. You rushed out and sat next to him, inspecting his face to see if he had gotten hurt.
"Sorry you had to see that." He said.
"Why are you apologizing?! When you said your dad wasn't a nice guy I didn't expect that." You said. He looked at you then back at the floor. You hugged him. He hesitated for a minute but soon gave in and hugged you back. After a few minutes he pulled out of the hug and stood up.
"We should get back to sleep." He said. You nodded and you both laid down, neither of you slept for awhile. He moved closer to you pulled you into a half hug. It felt nice so you didn't protest. You kissed his forehead and soon drifted off to sleep.

AN: enjoy this, it's now the shortest chapter. Also Billy's dad is a fucking douche.
