Chapter 14: truth or dare

AN: this chapter may contain smut, so if you don't like that just kinda skip it. There shouldn't be to much plot.

After about an hour of driving, you and Billy had made it just outside of Hawkins. You guys agreed to stay at a motel just on the outskirts of the town right next to Hawkins.

You got out of the car and grabbed his hand as you walked into the lobby to get a room. Room 13, the key tag read. You guys made your way to the room and just unpacked some basic stuff.

You and Billy were going to stay here for three day, then go back to Hawkins before someone filed a missing persons report. Everyone had been a bit on edge since the disappearance of Will Byers.
"Well, should we head off to sleep?" Billy asked while yawning.
"No! We have a whole three days to ourselves!" You said excitedly. He smiled at you then sat on the bed.
"What do we do then?" He asks.
"Um...how about a game?" You asked, he smirked.
"No not like that, How about...Truth or Dare?"
"We're both 19, why are we playing a kids game."
"Truth or dare is for all ages, Hargrove."
"Alright whatever you say." He said and smiled.

You went and sat on the bed next to him, then you turned to face him.
"Truth or dare." He asked.
"Truth." You answered, it was probably the safest root with him.
"Ok, um...when was your first kiss." He asked.
"Oh we're playing that game." You said.
"Um, my first kiss was actually with you, that night we studied." You added, you could already tell that you were blushing. His eyes widened at what you said.
"Actually?" He said in shock. You nodded.
"Was it good?" He asked with a smirk.
"It was indeed." You replied.

"Alright, truth or dare Hargrove?" You asked.
"Truth." He said.
"What's an embarrassing secret?" You asked.
"I secretly like the smiths band." He said and looked at the floor. You smiled.
"That's not embarrassing, the smiths are great." You said.
"It is when you like strictly listen to metal." He smiled at you.

"Truth or dare?" He asked.
"Dare." You replied.
"Kiss me." He said.
"That's it?" You said. He nodded
"Alrighty." You added. You went closer to him, and he did the same. Seconds after, your lips crashed into each other. He cupped the side of your face with one of his hands and you put your arms around his neck. Soon after he grabbed your legs and wrapped them around himself. You couldn't help but smile a bit. He also smiled. After a bit he moved down to your neck, you let out a silent moan, he smiled at this. He switched sides, and laid you down on a pillow. He had pinned your arms above your head and continued to kiss your neck. You didn't know what this feeling was, but you liked it. He pulled away for a moment to look at you. You shook your head, you definitely were not ready for...ya know. He backed up and let go of your arms.

After a little bit you both got ready for bed.
"I don't know about you, but that was the best game of truth or dare I've played." He said and you smiled. You smiled in return.
"Sorry." You said. You figured he had something else in mind, you knew he had something else in mind.
"Why are you apologizing? You weren't ready and that's completely ok." He said, he looked shocked that you had apologized. You both crawled into one bed, there were two but you'd much rather share one.

He turned to face you. And you did the same. For a bit you just looked at each other, unmoving and silent. He scooted closer to you and put and arm around you, you scooted closer to him and now he was basically holding you. Shortly after this you both fell asleep. Tonight had been eventful.

You woke up and Billy was still asleep, so you quickly and quietly got out of bed as to not wake him. And thankfully he stayed asleep. You sat in one of the chairs of the motel room for a bit just remembering what had happened last night. After those thoughts had subsided, you got up to find something to eat. You had packed a few snacks but you both would have to go to the store to pick up some more.

You found a bag of chips and decided to eat them, shortly after you decided to take a shower. The shower may have lasted about 15 minutes, you figured Billy was still sleeping so you walked out in just a towel. Oh how wrong you were.

He was rubbing his eyes and then looked up. He froze for a moment when he met your gaze. He looked back down to the ground just as quickly as he looked up.
"Is Hargrove getting flustered?" You asked while teasing him.
"Maybe." He said still looking at the ground. He was a completely different person around you, you've been over this but it still surprises you, how he is the king of Hawkins but also one of your friends, maybe more? That hasn't been confirmed yet.
"I'm just about to go change your fine." You said as you walked into the bathroom again after picking some clothes out of your bag. After you got changed you went over to sit on the bed to brush your hair. Billy was also trying to find a snack. Then he looked over at you and just stared for a bit.
"What are you thinking about?" You asked him. He smiled.
"Nothing much." He replied. Every conversation you had with him gave you butterflies. People always said relationships were less fun after Awhile, well you weren't really in a relationship.
"Hey Billy." His head perked up when you had said his name.
"Yes?"
"You know how we're friends, who kiss, like a lot."
"I thought we were more than friends by now." He said with a chuckle. You immediately turned red and looked down at the ground. He came over and sat next to you. You turned to look at him and he kissed your forehead.
"Are we?" He asked.
"I think we are, yes." You said and smiled at him. Now officially you and Billy were a thing, after all that wondering about if what had happened between you and Billy was for nothing, you finally know.

"Oh, we need to go to the store and get some stuff." You said as you brushed through the rest of the knots in your hair.
"Alright, whenever you want to go." He said and smiled, he got up and walked over to his bag to grab a cigarette.

AN: there was no smut, almost though. :) the rest of this chapter was kind of cringey lmao.
