I was about to get back inside when a pizza delivery guy appeared behind me. He must have slept at the wrong side of the bed that he approached me dryly. "Here's your order. The payment is already settled. Thanks." And with that, he walked away immediately without even waiting for me to respond or anything.

"Yeah, no problem." I muttered silently to myself as I lifted three boxes of pizza. This better taste as good as it smells. Then soon I realized I didn't order no pizza.

I was just about to open the front door when Delton opened it on the other side. He must not have seen me because his eyes widened. "Oh hey. Let me help you with that." He then grabbed the boxes immediately from my hands.

"Are you the one who made the order?"

"Uh, yeah. Problem?" He smiled sweetly.

"Yeah, coming. Why didn't you just leave it to me? You can't do anything you want just because you can."

"Seriously? Relax, its just pizza. Now can we both get inside so we can all have our lunch? I know you're famished. Shall we?"

"Fine.. but thanks tho." I responded awkwardly.

"You're such a cutie. Come on." My heart skipped a little on what he said.. But my stomach growled more.
We both went in and gathered everyone to the kitchen to take a quick lunch and get back to work right after.

It was already 5 o'clock in the afternoon when the crowd swarming the shop faded. Everyone was so tired but you can see genuine smiles on their faces.

I stood up at the counter with and gathered everyone and started to speak. "I just want to thank each and every one of you for this day. A million thanks to you guys for everything that you've done. For working so hard and for a job well done. Especially to my besties, I couldn't thank all of you enough for all the things you've done for me. I love you guys, a lot."

Harriet came up to me and grabbed my hand "No problem, Arrie. Always."

I smiled happily at them. I couldn't thank them enough for being always there for me. All throughout my entire life they were all there for me. I just couldn't imagine life without these incredible women. I'd rather choose not having a boyfriend than to lose them. Speaking of boyfriend, I mean 'boy' where's Delton? Oh, God. I forgot to thank him for all that he's done for me today. I haven't seen him earlier.

I rushed to the front door to check on his car, hoping he's still there. But no. I stepped outside and saw nothing. He's gone. I felt sad and quite terrible for not having the chance to thank him at least for everything that he has done for me today. I slowly went back to the shop and found them cleaning up and getting all prepped up to close up and call it a day.

"Did you see him?" Serafina asked silently.
I shook my head and smiled a bit. "I haven't thanked him for all that he's done today. I feel bad."
"It's fine. You can just call him or whatever."
"No." NO.
"Why not?"
"Because." And I gave her a look.
She just rolled her eyes. "Seriously? You are so not playing that game Arrie."
"Why not? I feel like I'm gonna disturb him or annoy him or whatever. Plus, I don't wanna do the first move. That's so unladylike. "
"Woah. Well, it's your call." She gave me a look. "No pun intended." And smirked.
"Mhm. Yeah right."

A couple of minutes later the girls decided to leave, we all exchanged goodbyes and they gave me a quick hug.

I was left in the shop together with some of my workers. I decided to throw out trash since they've been doing everything and I've got nothing to do. I grabbed the large wheeled garbage bin and pushed it all the way to the back door. I was about to go back inside when I noticed a familiar black car. Delton's.
It was his car.
My heart pumped loudly against my chest. I slowly moved my way into the car just to check if he's inside and grab the opportunity to thank him as well.

As I was getting closer the the driver's seat, I noticed his window car was rolled down. I took a closer look and found him snoozing dreamily with his seat slightly bent. I propped my elbows up and crouched down a little just to have a better view of him. He's so hot. I couldn't help myself to stare at him. My heart was racing and I couldn't wipe this stupid smile off my face. I swear, if he'd wake up right at this moment and with me staring at him looking like a kid daydreaming about her favorite ice cream pops, I'll be damned.

I was trying to lean in a little bit closer, trying to get a comfortable spot to stare at him when all of a sudden he opened his eyes. I was stunned. He caught me staring at him, and he smirked. That sexy smirk. I gasped in shock and in just a matter of seconds I quickly propped up and hit my head so hard on the roof of his car window. Oh. My. Gosh. Kill me now, please.
