Ch 8: Ruin our Friendship

Jungkook was also about to return when I lightly held him by his wrist. He turns back to look at me. I gaze into his eyes and timorously ask "Why did you save me back there?" He comes closer to me. I lean back at the wall. His flirtatious eyes look at me and his hand hold mine. My heart starts shaking. He softly says "Because I'll protect you. And I'll keep protecting you. So think of me."

"Think of me as to what?" I keep this thought to myself. "Why do you make my heart race again and again? STOB IT!" I had to flee from the situation. Even when no one called me, I yell "Yes, coming!" I find my way to escape through the gap between Jungkook's arm and the wall. I duck my head down and make a run for it. I even slip on my way, but regain my balance and run towards the makeup room. Once I had disappeared from his sight, he giggled because he knew no one called. He loses his bold appearance and blushes "Cute."

But goes into a character change in a second. He resolves "Tomorrow will be the day."

The day was just like any other day. The shoot ended. I took my bag and left for home. While Jungkook and Yoongi were only left in the makeup room who were changing into their normal attire. "Yoongi Hyung, I heard you are good with girls?" Jungkook mantlely asks. "Yes! Why?" Yoongi asks showing curiosity. He was one curious little cat.

"I actually want to buy a gift for someone," he explains. Yoongi becomes suspicious. He asks in a teasing manner "Who are you buying a gift?" Jungkook tries to explain himself but keeps stuttering "Uh-Uhm Actually I-i have to get a gift for m-my FRIEND from my childhood!" Yoongi could make out that he was lying but lets it go "Hmm Okay. How can I help you?"

Jungkook looks at his Yoongi Hyung with glowing eyes. He says with a spark "Can you come shopping with me?" Yoongi leaves a slight smile "Ok!" Jungkook instantly hugs his Hyung and says "Thank you!"

Soon, they both sit in Jungkook's car. "So what should I buy for moo-my friend?" asks Jungkook anxiously. Yoongi softly replies "Girls love dresses-" but Jungkook cuts him announcing excitingly "She will like a necklace. Let's get a necklace!" Yoongi speaks like a wise cat nodding his head "You cut me but it's okay, you know the girl better so you may know what to get. But I'm the expert, so I will help you choose the necklace." "Ok Hyung!" a smiling bunny says.

Next, they reach a luxury jewelry shop.

"Welcome, sir. Are you looking for a necklace for your special one?" Yoongi straightaway denies while Jungkook hesitates a bit in denying the fact. Although Yoongi noticed the hesitation, he doesn't decide to mutter a word about it.

Yoongi glances at all the necklaces with focus. He confidently says, "I'll choose the best necklace for you." But before Yoongi could even finish, Jungkook's eyes sparkle as he glanced at a perfect necklace. "Sir, can I look at this necklace?" He says pointing at the necklace. The store worker opens the case and hands the necklace in Jungkook's fragile hands.

He holds the necklace and gazes at the necklace. When he imagines the necklace on the one he plans to give it to puts him in a state of euphoria.

"A black dahlia necklace." He says with a deep gaze and eyes full of happiness. "It will totally suit her." He exclaims with a blunt smile.

Yoongi could see that his emotions were genuine. But he was still questioning if Jungkook had 'that' kind of emotions. A smile pulls along his face to see his little brother happy.

"But you didn't let me choose again!" Yoongi exclaims with a wide grin and unsatisfied eyebrows. Jungkook knew what his Hyung wanted. "Your positive energy helped me choose. Without you, I would not have been able to choose. So thank you so much Hyung for coming with me." Yoongi melted. He pats Jungkook's back with satisfaction "You don't need to thank me." After purchasing the special necklace, they both go home.
