Ch 9 | Pt 2: A Date Isn't Easy

I asked Jungkook to stop the car a half-kilometer before we reached the office. He stops the car nearby the walking street and asks "But why?" I explain my concern "I can't just drive to the office with you. Nobody knows that you are my boyfriend and nobody can't know that you are my boyfriend. Everyone will get the wrong idea if I come to the office with you and we will be seen with suspicions." Jungkook was disappointed but he knew that I was right. Keeping a stone on his heart, he drops me off. While leaving he said "I wish I could take you to the office. I'm sorry that I have to drop you here." "It's ok. It's for the best of us." I act as an understanding girlfriend. "Come safely." He says when he finally leaves. I flash a smile at him as I wave goodbye.

From there, I walk my way towards the office. I reach ten minutes late than Jungkook but it was worth protecting us.

Jungkook was impatiently waiting for me in the makeup room. Namjoon noticed him tapping his feet when he finally asked "Are you waiting for someone?" He quickly shakes his head for no when I finally step in.

He gets off the couch instantly but tries to act casual. "Hi, Moonbyul!" He waves hello at me. I almost lost a giggle because I knew this wasn't his first hello to me this morning. "Hello." I waive at him for the formalities. Namjoon also bids me a good morning after Jungkook does.

I start my normal routine. Jungkook keeps trying to signal me to do his makeup, but instead, I ignore his signs and do others' makeup to make him jealous. As usual, Seo Hee does Jimin's makeup first while I start with Namjoon's makeup first. Jungkook shows his cute angry pout when I do others' makeup rather than him. This might be the first time that he was jealous of his members.

Everyone's makeup was almost done while Jungkook was still waiting for me. Seo Hee comes to Jungkook and says "Let me do your makeup." "But-" He hesitates. "But what?" Seo Hee's eyebrows frown. I come right in time "Don't worry Seo Hee. I'll do Jungkook's makeup."

Seo Hee had sensed some weird vibes. She made up her mind to tease me and Jungkook. "Why?" She throws a fit. "Because I'm the senior and besides that Jungkook also likes my makeup style." I use my senior card for the first time. Seo Hee looks at Jungkook who also nods yes. "But aren't we both doing natural style though today which is the same? But I'll leave you guys alone." She whispers but loud enough for us to hear with a great smirk of a person who has sniffed love. By saying this, she runs away.

Everyone was busy in their own worlds. I was peacefully doing Jungkook's makeup with my full attention. Makeup is a thing I can put my full attention on except for Jungkook. While doing the makeup, I notice him blankly staring at my face. "What are you looking at?" I say playfully. "Your beautiful face." His reply brings an adrenaline rush and my cheeks turn red. I look here and there to see if anyone had listened to that. Assuring no one had heard, I whisper "Don't say all this at the office. Keep your voice down."

I raise my hand to softly hit his little hand, but before I could reach it, he grabs my hand making me skip a beat I quickly try to free my hand but his hands were really strong. I devised a little plan to free my hand. I slowly whisper in his ears "I love you". His hands weaken and I quickly pull my hands and proclaim "Your makeup is done!"

A few moments later, everybody leaves for their shoot while I still stay in the makeup room because I was having a small headache.

An hour passes and everybody returns back to the makeup room except Jungkook. This doesn't go unnoticed by me as I was waiting for him like an impatient kid who wants his candy. I was looking around for him when Hobi interrupts "Moonbyul, Jungkook said that the manager has called you to his cabin." I tilt my head in confusion "Why could the manager be calling me?"

I make my way out of the door and through the hallways to his cabin. While I was walking, someone suddenly grabs my hand and pulls me into a room. 

He suddenly hugs me from the back and whispers "I missed you." I knew who it was. It was Jungkook. I try to free myself from his arms but all in vain. "Jungkook, The manager has called me. Leave me for now" I retaliate.
