Eclipse trotted through the entrance, her tail wagging." Stars... Wendigo, you're--" She cut herself off when she realized that the Omega was nowhere to be seen. Maybe he'd gone to the Omega's den already.

She turned toward the small bramble den, only to stop in her tracks as she realized that there had been wolves crowded around at that certain spot. She blinked, and glanced over, as she caught the sight of a few wolves out of the corner of her eyes. The Beta, Gear, and two Iotas. She felt a shiver run through her fur as she caught sight of the old Beta, his paws and muzzle blood-stained.

But Eclipse forced back her fear and uncertainty, padding over to them." Hey.." she muttered warily." What's going on?"

Gear looked over and growled lowly when he saw her." None of your business, half wolf!" He snapped.

Eclipse took a pace back, her ears flattening as the group began walking away." Fine then... I'll just... I'll figure it out for myself.."

With a soft growl, she turned and began padding toward the Omega's den. Why am I just a half of a wolf? Rogues are wolves too, aren't they? They have lives, and they have problems... and they do have pasts. She remembered the slight pain that had flashed in those green and orange ombre eyes as he had mentioned his father to her. But she shook that away as she continued on.

Midnight entered the camp, glancing around. Ore padded inside behind him, and went off to drop his rabbit on the fresh-kill pile. Ash just stalked off somewhere, probably to sulk about the little prey that they had caught. But Midnight noticed Eclipse heading toward the Omega's den, and bounded after her." Hey!"

She looked over her shoulder, forcing herself to brighten up when she saw him." Hey."

" What's going on?" Midnight blinked." I smell blood... Did one of the Omega's get beat up again."

Eclipse sighed." I think so... I was just going to check to see if everything was alright." She quickened her pace as she made her way through the undergrowth to the sandy hollow. She peered inside to see the Pack's healer, Fade, leaning over a passed-out Wendigo. Her eyes widened.
" Wh--" She cut herself off when she saw the body a few paces away.

Midnight halted in his tracks just at the entrance, staring. A breeze passed by, and as it did, one of the petals tore off from the winter flowers and fluttered away." Oh no..." he breathed." Is that... that's not who I think it is, is it?" He took another step forward, into the den, lowering his head to study the body more closely.

Fade gave a sigh, and nodded." Yes, it is..." his muzzle wrinkled into a soft snarl as he prepared a few herbs right at his side." Those Betas think that they can do anything they want without worrying about their rank falling... little do they know that I can make them Omega within seconds.."

Eclipse took a step back, then another, before pausing. She was used to this... she had seen Omegas being murdered all the time, even being a pup. Why was this certain death so... terrible, though? Ah, that's why... her gaze fell to the flowers, and the prey item, then back to Wendigo's form beside Fade. Wendigo lost his father... and then suddenly, he had his mother taken away from him too. Just like that. And for what?" Why... why was she punished like this again?" She muttered.

Fade shook his head." Refused to follow an order Gear gave her... I admired her courage for standing up for herself, but... well... it's unfortunate." He applied some marigold to the swollen lump behind Wendigo's ear.

Eclipse suddenly felt sick. She turned and began to pad off, toward the entrance of the camp.

Midnight looked over his shoulder." Where are you going?"
