February.....
It had already been a month and half since Christmas. Me and Aaron have been better than ever. Both of us have been busy with our jobs but at least Aaron isn't working as a professor anymore so that gave us more time together. This week is Valentine's Day so far the plan is to go out for a fancy dinner and "sexy night" like Aaron said I already bought a new red lingerie set. But with our work we weren't sure we where actually going to follow through.
Today I had decided to go buy some lunch at my tias cafe and ended up seeing Maria and her mom. She told me she had been super busy Maria was finally able to get her cochlear implants a couple of months ago and she was able to hear. She looked really stressed and tired and I don't blame her she has Maria's surgery and baby Mateo. I asked her if she had any plans for Valentine's Day and she said her husband got the day off tomorrow but not Valentine's Day and that they where having a rough time in their relationship.
I instantly told her I could help her by babysitting for her tomorrow night so they could have some alone time. She didn't want to because she didn't want to bother but she ended up agreeing. So after work I went and bought some snacks and toys for them to play. When I got home I began to get the guest room ready for them, I was so excited dancing and getting everything ready I didn't even hear Aaron come in.
"Well someone is in a good mood" he said from the door and I turned around and kissed him "Hi guapo" and he looked down to the baby blanket on my hands and smiled "Is there something I should know?" he asked and I looked at him confused "What?" I asked with a chuckle "You are holding a baby blanket and the room is full of toys so are we..." he said smiling putting a hand in my stomach.
"Oh no Maria's mom has been stressed so I offered her to babysit Maria and the baby tomorrow so her and her husband can have a date night" I said and he looked a bit sad "That sounds great, how can I help?" he said " Help me put this in the living room" I said and he helped me out and soon the house looked like kids lived here.
The Next Day......
When I got off from work I offered Maria's mom help to get ready and pick out and outfit. " Your husband is going to want to skip dinner and go straight to dessert" I said with a smirk "Ay Stephanie" she said playfully smacking me " Im serious how is it that you had two kids and look that hot!" I said holding baby Mateo "Yeah well thanks, but what about you and Aaron, have you considered trying?" she said "Well I am on birth control and we haven't actually talked about it but yesterday when he saw a baby blanket he thought I was pregnant and got excited" I said playing with Mateo.
"We'll you love kids and already are good with them and besides both of you would make good looking babies" she said " Yeah but idk if I am ready and I'm not sure if he is either and plus I like my job" I said " We weren't ready when we had Maria and look at me and about your job I decided to stay at home because I wanted to doesn't mean you have to leave your job" she said and I was just there thinking.
