The next morning....
Aarons POV.....
Last night when Steph confirmed Aria was mine there was so much emotions I felt happiness, confusion, anger, sadness and then happiness again. It made me realize how selfish I was when I left her. She had been all alone from when she found out she was pregnant to when she had Aria until now. I mean I was at least there for Haley when she had Jack, but Steph she was all alone. And even then she made sure Aria always had a good image of me and I was deeply thankful for that. So I was going to make sure to be there as most as I could. So today I woke up early as usual and decided I wasn't going to do any work at all just focus on Aria and Steph. I got ready and put on a black quarter zip jacket and jeans and at 8 in the morning sharp I was at their doorway knocking the door. For a moment I regretted getting there especially when no one opened the door but then I remember last night they must've gotten home late so I knocked one more time.
"Ugh who ever it is you can go and ... oh Aaron what are you doing here?" Steph said as she opened the door. She was wearing a grey oversized crop top and blue and grey flannel pjs and her beautiful natural hair and she was barefooted, she looked beautiful. "Good morning to you too remember you said I could come and spend the day with you guys?" I asked "Oh yeah right sorry come in it's cold outside" she said and I came inside her house. It was way different than the one in LA. And I honestly wondered how she was paying all this and taking care of Aria. "Nice house" I said as she led me to the kitchen. "Thanks, my dad sold it to me on a very good price" she said as she put on the coffee machine.
"Okay so Aria usually wakes up late on Sunday's because it her day off so do you want me to wake her up or you want me to tell you more about her?" She asks and she leans on the counter. "No it's okay let her sleep, I can wait but I would love to learn more about her" I said "Okay let me go brush my teeth and bring you some things" she said and went up stairs. She took a couple of minutes and she came back wearing her glasses with her computer, some album books and a sweatshirt.
"Okay so first things first this is yours...it's Arias soccer team sweatshirt I ordered you one since I figured I had to eventually tell you the truth and I thought you would like to see her play at some point" she said giving me the quarter zip sweatshirt it was just like the one she was wearing yesterday it said Ruiz and the number 16 on the back. "Thanks I appreciate it" I said as I put it down. "This is a album Santi made for me of all the ultrasounds and my pregnancy journey up to the day she was born, and these are just albums of her growing up since she was born and each have a quote of what happened during the photo also in my computer are some videos we have taken of her." she says and gives me the book and the computer and I began to look at them while she does what I think is breakfast.
And I couldn't believe I miss all of it. From finding out she was pregnant to finding out she was a girl. And then she has this photo shoot man she looked so beautiful. And then they threw her a baby shower I assume at her old work. Her ex was there and Santi and Stefan and all these other people. They were there and I wasn't. What made me feel so upset was that her ex was there on the day she was born instead of me. As I saw the pictures of how Aria grew up it made me realize that what I said all those years ago was right. Stephanie was an amazing mom I was so lucky she was the mother of my child. Especially when I saw this scene.
