Rectification

**  This is a one shot for Serkan to rectify his mistakes and get his Eda back or at least try to.**

Serkan could not hold back his tears. He knew that he really had no right to have Eda or even be near her after what he did. He betrayed their love in the worst possible way, and did it knowingly, kind of. He knew her and heard the words and saw the pictures as proof of the "great love" they had, but he just didn't think he was the kind of man to be "in love" and do all those "lovey" things like buy a star or move his work area just to be close to someone. He had never been that way, EVER, so it was unbelievable to him that he had actually done those things. Being his ever robot self, he remembered being all work and no play but especially no emotions. That just wasn't who he was, right? He couldn't deny the immediate attraction he felt upon seeing Eda, both in his groin and admittedly his heart. But Selin had knowingly and purposely preyed on the Serkan from before. She repeatedly reminded him of his coldness and his constant love for work and how she knew and accepted that of him. That she would never change him. She fed him lie after lie and knowing him like she did, he ate up every one of them. The night that his life officially ended once again;  he was feeling frustrated and confused with what he had seen in pictures and been told and what he knew. Selin had sidled up next to him, handed him a whiskey and he turned to her to thank her and saw her wearing next to nothing. He looked at her questionably because she had never done that before. The few times it happened, it was quick and always in the bedroom; just the act and it was done. So seeing Selin like this should have raised his suspicions but she just reached out and kissed him and he reacted. Once again it was not intimate, their were no feelings attached it was just a need being met. Once it was over, Selin had this smirk on her face but Serkan didn't really care enough to question it. He got up, got dressed and left the room. He felt "dirty" and like he had cheated. He slept on the couch from that night forward; his mind and heart conflicted about what was going on between the two.
    The days following his "act" with Selin had him having flashes of moments in time, a yellow dress, pushing a beautiful woman against the bookshelf in his apartment, being at the cinema and the feeling of someone cuddling up to him, rain, a photographer and what feels like jealousy, anger, fear and love? He was more confused than ever. He needs a break and walks out onto the balcony outside his office. He sees a rose bush that is wilting but he can see that it once was full of beautiful red roses. He instinctively picks up the watering can and pours water over it. He sees before his eyes the wilted roses come back to life and then it happens. His head begins to throb, he drops the watering can and has to sit down. Memory after memory come rushing back and flood his mind and heart. He sees Eda but more importantly he feels Eda and the love they have for each other. He immediately stands up to search for her when he suddenly stops and remembers leaving on their wedding day, the plane crash and Selin coming to help him. He freezes and in his mind (damnit what the fuck am I to do now. I left Eda, my beautiful star, to do work on our wedding day and got into a plane crash. I remember waking up in a hospital and feeling confused so I called my friend and PR Selin and she came right away. She told me about Eda and how she blinded me with her beauty and talk of love and how I changed into an unrecognizable man. She filled me with lie after lie so that I would hate Eda. I came back, oh no I was holding hands with Selin. I ignored everything Eda and everyone else told me about my love and hurt her over and over again). He starts to move forward again and then stops and grabs his heart, ( fuck, fuck fuck what have I done. I slept with Selin. I cheated on my one and only love. This will kill her. I can't let her find out, I know this will destroy her even if we both know I wasn't in my right mind and it was nothing more than the act of getting my release. I can never let her know about this. But now that I remember I also remember how Selin is and know that she will tell her just to humiliate her and destroy her. What a bitch, Selin is and I never realized it. I have to get rid of Selin for good so they she doesn't have the chance to tell Eda before I can. Serkan feels better and rushed out to find Eda but gets stopped by a hand on his chest, Selin " seviglim, where are you rushing off to, I thought we could have lunch together ?" Serkan visibly shivers at her touch and pulls her hand off of his chest and pulls her into his office. He doesn't see Eda who witnessed what appeared to her and everyone else their intimate moment. Eda rushed to get her bag and leave, she can't do this anymore. Meanwhile, Serkan pulls Selin inside his office and closes the door. Selin is smiling widely thinking of what could happen now that she has Serkan. He stops, pulls his hand away from her and when he turns to look at her she sees anger in his eyes. Serkan takes a deep breath and says " Selin, you were my oldest and closest friend. We grew up together and even dated for a short period of time even though it was only because it was expected of us to do so. I have never seen you as more than a dear friend and a great PR person for my company. So when I am laying in a hospital bed, in pain and confused about what is going on, I call my friend and PR person to help me. But the person who came did not help me but lied to me and hurt me more than anything else ever had in my life. This person convinced me that my Love was only a manipulative bitch hell bent to destroy my company. This person knew that my company was the most important thing to me and made me believe the worst possible things. Little did that person nor I know that I would risk everything for Eda because I love her that much. This person turned me into someone I have never been, cruel and heartless. I can only say that this person thought that she had won and that all her careful planning and spiteful actions were overlooked and forgotten. But I am here to tell this person that I, Serkan Bolat remember EVERYTHING. I remember kicking this person who was my friend out of my life for good and finally being happy and in love with my Eda. I remember every lie this person fed me to make me hurt my Eda. But now that I know and remember the truth, I am telling this person to STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME AND EDA, MY MOM, MY FRIENDS AND MY COMPANY. I HATE YOU AND HAVE NEVER IN ALL OF OUR TIME TOGETHER LOVED YOU OR WANTED YOU! LEAVE NOW AND NEVER RETURN!!
  Selin smirks and says " you remember well I was hoping that would never happen or we would be married by then and I wouldn't give you a divorce. But it doesn't really matter, Serkan you slept with me, we had sex just a few days ago. How do you think your "love" is going to take that, huh? I will tell you she will never be able to get the picture of the two of us in bed out of her brain. It will haunt her forever, so she will not be able to stay with you because of that fact. And you know what I think I may just go out there right now and tell her about how how you kissed me and how the last body you touched was MINE AND NOT HERS. I can only imagine the look on her face, I can't wait for it. I won't let the two of you be happy Serkan; if I can't have you she sure can't. I hate her because she took you from me so it will give my great joy to watch her heart crumble to pieces.
   Serkan is astounded at the words coming from Selin, who seems hell bent on destroying Eda. He doesn't know what to do first, get rid of Selin or find Eda and tell her the truth. He knows that he has kept the truth from Eda before and it caused them to separate but he also recognizes that this truth may be the end of them forever. He knows Eda will be heartbroken even more so than what she has been for the last few months. He can't let Selin tell her he has to come clean. He leaves Selin in his office and runs to find Eda but does not see her anywhere. He asks around and is informed that after seeing his intimate moment with Selin that Eda grabbed her bag and left and no one knows where. Serkan once again, wants to hit himself for his stupidity. He can only imagine what Eda is thinking, Selin's hand on his chest and him grabbing her hand and pulling her into his office and closing the door. It must have looked like he wanted privacy with Selin which he did but not for the reason the entire office believes.
He is at a loss thinking about how to let everyone know that Selin manipulated and lied to him about his life and that he wasn't in his right mind. He wants them to know that his memories are back and that Selin and her treacherous acts will be dealt with but he has to see and talk to Eda first. He runs to his car and speeds to Eda's house. He rushed up the stairs and through the gate and pounds on the door. After what seems like forever the door opens but it's not Eda that opens the door it's her aunt Ayfer and she looks like she has been crying. Serkan immediately asks if Eda is alright and tells for her. After asks him "Serkan just what the hell do you think you are doing? Coming to my house acting like you care about Eda. You don't care about her and I honestly don't know that you ever have. After all this time, I think she was a challenge for you and you did what you had to do to win, just like you do in everything else. You have never once considered her feelings or her hopes and dreams, only yours matter and her giving in to what you want. She has given up her future and some of her family for you and you act like it's not a big deal. It may not be to you, the great Serkan Bolat who has people lining up to do his bidding, but for Eda it meant that she loved you more than anyone or anything and beyond all reason. She happily forgot her future plans to wait for you and what di you do, oh yeah you broke up with her and broke her heart. Then you wouldn't let her live her life and kept putting yourself out there and making demands on her heart and mind. And let's not forget, you guys worked through all the past heartaches and were getting married, hell even my mother gave her blessing. Then just like every other time, you put something whether it be work or someone,before Eda and leave on your wedding day. Do you have any idea how that really made Eda feel? Do you know she never doubted you until that moment and she questioned if you really wanted the marriage. And low and behold you don't return for over 2 months. Eda cried and cried for days at a time and refused to eat. All she did was sit in your apartment with Sirius. No one knew what she was thinking and we were all terrified that she may hurt herself. Because you see Serkan, Eda has always put you first and foremost in her life and when you were gone she felt she had nothing to live for.
   But the absolute worst and most despicable thing you have ever done is to return with that Bitch, Selin and flaunt your "love" in Eda's face. You acted like the proof you were given did not even exist and ripped her her heart out and watched her bleed out. So you see Serkan Bolat, you do not deserve my Eda. All this talk from your mother about Eda not being worthy of you is complete bullshit because it is you that are not worthy of her. Never have been and never will be. So get lost and leave Eda be. You move on with your life like your past with Eda never existed just like you have been doing for the past few months. Myself, Melo, Fifi and Ceren will make sure that Eda is okay and we will do whatever we have to do to make it so, because when you live someone that is what you do. Goodbye!" Ayfer slams the door in Serkan's face. He is speechless, is this really what Eda and everyone thought about how he felt about her? Did he treat her like what she thought and wanted didn't matter and just led her to go along with what he wanted?
