Alpha Micah and his family are coming.
Alpha Micah and his family.
Alpha Micah.
Micah.
Since Mum had shared that information with me thirty four minutes ago, it was all that occupied my brain.
Micah.
Micah, Micah, Micah, Micah, Micah.
I hadn't seen him in a year, much to my relief. I had nothing against him, not one thing.
He couldn't say the same though.
Every time we ever had a run-in, he looked like he wanted to shun me or something. I didn't know what I ever did to him but it seemed as if he didn't like me.It used to bother me; I was not use to people around me not liking me, but over time it just became useless to care whether or not he did.
He was always grumpy and moody. Three years before, on his eighteenth birthday, he became an Alpha to one of the most powerful packs of the supernatural kingdom. Since, I doubt that had seen him smile once.
God bless his fated mate. I feel so sorry for her.
_Dari, they're here, come down_ Mu
m notified me through mind link._Okay_
Very reluctantly, I got up from my bed and made my way downstairs. Before opening the door however, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Golden strands were all over the place.
Bloody hell. My father would not be happy if I went down like that.
I quickly grabbed my hairbrush and got all the tangles out. After doing so, I grabbed a scrunchy from my drawer and tied my hair in a ponytail. Satisfied, I rushed out the door.
_Dari, hurry up_
_I'm coming, Mum_ I reply instantly.
It is said to be rude if you let your guests wait if you knew they were coming. As a royal, you were expected to be punctual at all times, to set an example to others below you.
I was sure that would be the speech I'd be getting later.
I finally entered the dining room, where everyone was standing amicably. The atmosphere in the room was intimidating.
Mum turned around. "There you are, darling." She motioned for me to walk further inside. She was wearing a different dress and her hair was tied, just like mine. My brother stood next to her, looking like he would rather eat dirt than be there.
Everyone turned except for Alpha Micah, not that I had expected anything different. He looked taller than the last time I saw him, probably around 6'5. He was wearing a black suit. That was all that I could observe from the angle I was looking from.
"Princess Daria," former Luna Madelyn, Micah's mother, bowed in respect. I bowed back, greeting her. She was a kind woman and she's been friends with Mum since Mum became my dad's mate.
"Its a pleasure meeting you, Princess Daria," another greeted me with a bow which I returned. "Aaron Wild, Beta of the Moonshadow Pack," he told me. I gave him a small smile.
He looked about the same age as Alpha Micah. I could tell he was proud of his title and that he deserved it. He looked strong and brave.
Two guards appeared in front of me, simultaneously lowering their heads. I sent them a smile of appreciation and they stepped back.
