Do you also feel up to something (anything) whenever you listen to music?

When I entered the dining room, everyone was already seated, even Alpha Micah. Former Luna Madelyn was chatting with my mum and dad, while Matthias played with the twins, one on either side of him, sitting in their highchairs. Beta Aaron I think he had said his name was, ate silently, but gave me a small smile and nod of acknowledgement when he saw me. I returned the friendly gesture only to see Alpha Micah glaring at me.

Great, what did I do this time?

"Darling, there you are. Come on, the pancakes are getting cold," Mum said.

"Morning Dad, Luna Madelyn."

"Morning, dear," Luna Madelyn smiled warmly. If only her son shared her friendly demeanor.

"Morning, honey."

I walked past Matthias, well, not before messing up his perfectly gelled hair by running my hand through it carelessly. He whined and glared at me before mumbling something about 'annoying big sisters'.

The table (except for Alpha Micah) chuckled at his expense and I took my seat next to Lucryn, another joy in my life. I kissed his cheek and he giggled.

I filled my plate with two pancakes and lots of bacon. I could tell Mum made it herself. She was an excellent cook. Her food had always tasted like heaven.

I kept my eyes on my food at all times, avoiding a certain someone across from me. He had been silent throughout, and honestly, I prefered it that way. His voice affectted me in more ways than I'd like to admit.

It was only when I caught a glimpse of the watch on my wrist that I realized that I was suppose to be on my way by now.

"Mum, I gotta go," I said hurriedly, interrupting her from whatever she was telling Luna Madelyn. "I'm late for school."

The chair scraped across the floor as I was about to stand up, but Dad's next sentence made me pause.

"You're not going to school today, love."

I frowned, confused. "Why not?"

He shared a look with Mum. They were talking through link and that made me uneasy. Mum had a stricken look on her face that couldn't mean anything good.

"Dad," my voice came out surprisingly stable.

My father's eyes locked with mine and he sighed heavily.

"You are going away for a while, sweetheart," he told me calmly.

What?

"What do you mean?" I asked, my frown deepening.

"Its not safe for you to stay here, in the castle, not right now, when the South is after you." At the mention of the South, my stomach churned.

"B-But, its safe here," I deadpanned, "the whole castle are surrounded by guards at all times, right? Why do I have to go?"

"The castle can't protect you forever, darling. Unless we keep you inside, at all times. You wouldn't be able to go anywhere, see anyone, you'll have no one but the walls surrounding you to talk to. Are you willing to give up your freedom? Are you willing to do that, darling?"

My heart pounded in my ears. I felt nauseous all of a sudden. I opened my mouth to say something, but my mouth couldn't find the right words to form.

"But where will she go, Dad? If the castle can't keep her safe, who can?" my brother demanded, his voice agitated. He sounded both curious and as if he was challenging our father.
