Cai left to order food and Reyn was left alone at the table. At that moment when Cai slipped and Gem accidentally heard us mentioning Steve, she was about to go haywire.
She recovered from her trance a while back nung nag-uusap pa sila Gem and Cai tungkol sa Selection Ceremony pero ang kanyang katawan ay ani mo'y kinuhanan ng lakas. And she was also a bit dizzy.
Reyn tucked her head down to the table with her hands. She especially hate noise at ngayon sa cafeteria kung saan karamihan ng mga students ay tumatambay, it was like a nightmare for Reyn.
After a few minutes she observe her surroundings, at nakita niyang nakapila si Cai sa counter habang tumitingin sa mga dishes na nakalagay sa itaas. She also noticed that their table is especially unique from the rest. Mayroon doong griller sa table at may kasama pang table napkins and scented candle, yung chairs ay cushioned rin unlike sa ibang tables na plastic chairs lang. Yung table rin ay nasa pinakagitna ng lahat.
Reyn sighed and rolled her eyes. Sa dinadami daming choices ni Cai, she had to pick the one who is in the center of it all and probably the most luxurious and eye-catching, attention grabber kind of table there is.
Her face once again buried its way through her arms. She doesn't really hate attention but she can always ignore it. Kaya pipikit nalang muna siya habang hinihintay si Cai at ang pagkain.
Hindi pa nakakapikit si Reyn ng may biglang sumigaw sa kanyang tenga. "Hey you uncultured fool!!"
Reyn raised her arm slapping the person who yelled in her ear. Nakarinig naman ito ng isang malutong na 'What the hell'
"What the hell is wrong with you?!"
Reyn stared a the girl in fron of her. Makinis, maputi, matangkad, mapayat, at maganda. She rolled her eyes. Typical rich spoiled girl. Tumayo siya at walang pag alinlangang sinampal ang babae.
Biglang tumahimik ang loob ng cafeteria animo'y dumaan si kamatayan. Di makasalita yung babae at ang kanyang mga alipores naman ay nakatulala at hindi makapaniwala.
"What's wrong with you?!" Sigaw ng babae.
"Hindi mo ba ako kilala?!" Namumula ang kanyang kaliwang pisngi. Di mapigilan ni Reyn ang mapangiti.
"I'm a transferee." Pag papaliwanag ni Reyn. She shrugged her shoulders with boredom. Her stomach grumbled and she was already so weak because of hunger.
"I'm Ashrette Montivilla." Pag mamayabang nung babae. "Even if you're a transferee at least you'll know my family's name."
"No. I don't know." said Reyn non-chalantly. People gasp with dis-belief. Animo'y may sinabi siyang napaka-weird. What's wrong with this people?
Ashrette fans her hands as if she just said the most foolish thing ever.
