It was an average day in Arkadia, nothing out of the ordinary insight as Octavia Blake walked from home and to the bus stop where she awaited to go to school. Her schedule is the same every day, nothing new. However today felt different, and yet Octavia couldn't quite put her finger on what felt wrong. Feeling the eerie feeling creeping up on her neck she looks around the bus stop and then down to her phone for the time; the bus was late.

She wouldn't be so skeptical seeing as it happens every once in awhile when there's an accident or more officers in the neighborhood than normal, than the bus takes longer to get to her stop. In cases like this, Octavia would simply text her brother and ask for a ride, but for the last several months that hasn't been an option. Not since Bellamy graduated from the police academy and became an officer with his best friend Miller, who helped Bellamy get on the force. Octavia's brother has a strict work schedule, it's one that he can't get out of most days. Seeing as he was still relatively new to the job, there was no way for him to be late constantly.

Bellamy gave almost all of his life for his little sister Octavia. Especially after their mother died. But ever since then Octavia has tried to step up and be more independent, to help her brother start a life of his own. And that first step was making a career for himself. The only way for him to keep that career was to not screw it up, stay consistent, and on time. Which meant that Octavia would stay and wait at the bus stop even when it ran late.

It wasn't fair for Bellamy to keep his life on pause, not any longer. And if that meant Octavia had to stand around for an extra 10 minutes for a bus ride to school then she was willing to take that chance. Bellamy gave up a lot for his sister, too much in her opinion, And that's only other things that she knows he's done.

And so she waits.

As the young Blake stands to the side and awaits for the bus she scrolls through apps on her phone, smiling at the grumpy cat memes that fill her page. The fluffy feline and it's famous grumpy face never failed to fully grab Octavia's attention, just as the bright blue butterflies in their backyard. She was always fascinated and mesmerized. Every ounce of her attention zeroed in on the little screen in her hand as she stared down at the fluffy animal.

With her eyes glued to her screen and on the furry she doesn't notice anything or anythobe else in her immediate surroundings. That is to say until a strong force drags her from behind as a cloth coves her nose and lips.

Before the young teen could think or act, her entire world spun and turned black.

She isn't sure how much time had passed, nor was she aware of where she was. Everything around her was dark, the air cold, and her wrist bound. She feels the rope dig into her skin as she sits up from her position on the concrete floor. It digs and digs as she tries to remove it but it was no use, the rope was too tight.

Panic began to set in as she took in her surroundings more- Octavia was far from home.

The darkness made it difficult to see anything but a call sliver of light from afar lit up just enough for her to scan her immediate surroundings. The ropr around her wrist was tied to a steel pipe outside the small bars that trapped her inside. There were old newspapers and a rusted toilet in the corner to her right, but what she finds on her left was the most shocking of all- another girl. She appeared older than Octavia but not by much, and from her physical appearance it was clear that she has been here for a very long time.
