Eleven

I was sat in an ice cream store with Y/N and Minghao. Y/N was spamming in the group chat about how we have been friends for nearly a month, but haven't hung out out of school together, so she insisted that we spent some time together.

So there we were, sat at a circular table, eating fairly cheap ice cream, but it did still taste good.

Y/N and Minghao were talking together, and Minghao had stolen a part of Y/N's ice cream. This then turned to them stealing each other's. I watched them with a smile, not noticing that Y/N had then taken a part of my ice cream.

She ate it, and her eyes widened, making me have the assumption that she liked it. She asked me for the flavour, and then left to the cashier to ask for the same thing.

Minghao wasn't smiling.

While Y/N was gone, I thought this would be the best time to ask Minghao about confessing. I took out a note once again and passed it to him.

'How do I confess to someone?'

Minghao wiggled his eyebrows at me. I held a finger in front of his lips, not wanting him to be loud about it. 

A small smile creeping onto his face, Minghao turned my note over, and began writing his answer. I kept an eye on Y/N to make sure she wouldn't see what he was writing. 

I saw her finish paying and begin to walk back, so I patted Minghao on the arm, and he quickly finished before sliding the note over to me, unseen by Y/N.

As they sat talking to each other, I looked at what Minghao had written.

'You could write a note to her, that's quite popular these days. Make sure that you are completely honest with how you feel, don't hide anything. Honesty is key. I know you aren't talkative, so this might be the best way for you.

If you are comfortable, you could say it to her. Tell her how your feelings begun and how they have progressed over the time that you have known her. Be straightforward. I know that you don't hang out with anybody, so try not to sound stalkerish by saying how you see her.  

If you are too nervous to be around her when confessing, you could send her a text. You don't really see anybody apart from who's in our photography class, so you probably already have her social media, but if it is somebody else, just let me know and I'll give you her details.

If the moment feels right, then make a move and kiss her. But if she looks uncomfortable, then don't.

I folded up the note and placed it in my pocket before looking towards Minghao and Y/N.

I can do it.

I can confess to Y/N.
