"The cake is done." Mary whispered.
"And the decorations." Peter whispered.
"And the music." Sirius added.
"And The rest of the food. Which consists of 70 % chocolate." Lilly whispered. They were sitting in a empty class room, discussing Remus birthday party that was going to be held the same night.
"And the alcohol is ready. Everyone has there presents?" Sirius asked. Everyone nodded.
"Great, just the birthday boy left." James grinned.
"We can go in now." Mary said, only her head visible from behind the bookshelf.
"Finally!" Remus said and rolled his eyes. Marlene smiled. She was Remus "babysitter", as James said it. They hade been sitting in the library reading for at least two hours now. Remus did like reading, but two hours in the library without his own books? Naa.
"Come on!" Mary basically dragged the other two up the stairs.
As the the three climbed through the portrait, Remus first, the room became a blast of colour and sound.
"Happy birthday!" The whole of Gryffindor basically screamed.
"You didn't have to!"
"Well we wanted to. Now cut the cake!" James pointed at a table that was filled with chocolate things. Four cakes and a big chocolate fountain (somehow).
After they hade eaten up all four cakes it was time for presents.
"Me first!" James put his hand up in the air. He walked up to Remus and handed him a box.
"No tape then?" Remus said with a smile.
"Don't worry, now open!" Remus opened the box and got a cup out of it. It said, in big red letters, "I HAVE THE BEST BIG BROTHER". He couldn't help himself but to laugh.
"And it will never break! You're stuck with it!"
"It's cute, but you have the better brother."
"Which one? He has two!" Sirius grinned, that typical Sirius grin.
"Well, both are better than him." For this Remus got the box to the cup thrown in his face. "I deserve that. Next!" The three girls smiled and gave him a bag. It was a tote bag.
"Look inside!" Mary said, looking like she was going to explode. When he looked down he saw that the inside of the bag was dubbed the size of the outside. He could probably fit twenty books in there!
"This is so cool! Thanks!"
"Now my turn!" Peter exclaimed. He pushed a book in Remus hands. It was in brown leather and the pages were a little coloured in the edges. In big red letters with gold decorations stood "The guide too stargazing, 1809".
"This is so sweet! Thanks Pete." The drawings in it were amazing.
"Look at page twenty!" Remus flipped to page twenty and bit his tongue.
"Sirius. Also known as the Dog Star." Lilly read from behind Remus. The four marauder's bursted out laughing.
"Now me!" Sirius said with a smirk as they hade calmed down.
