yuka was always adventurous, you knew, but he always came back when you called for him. so when that night you called yuka back for dinner and he hadn't came back in the next 15 minutes, you began to feel worried about him, and stepped out the house to call him once more.
after 5 minutes had passed you began to feel frantic and you fully left the house to go and search for him, all the while yelling out his name. your neighbors stepped out of their houses to see what the commotion was about, and soon they came to help look with you.
after nearly an hour of searching, you finally heard the familiar laughter of your precious son coming from above you. like an angel descending from the heavens, your son flew down to the ground in the arms of the avatar, aang.
as soon as his feet hit the ground, you fell to your knees with your arms stretched out. yuka ran into your arms, yelling out, "mama!". you clutched your baby in your arms, sobs wracking through your body as you kissed his shoulders, cheeks, and forehead. after being without him for so long you realized that losing him would be worse than losing your life itself.
after a solid 10 minutes of hugging, yuka begins to feel heavy in your grasp, and after listening to his soft breathing, you realize that he's fallen asleep. you wipe the tears off of your face and stand up, holding your sleeping baby in your arms.
"thank you avatar," you say, your voice hoarse and scratchy from crying and searching for yuka. "i owe you a debt of my life." you bow down as far as you can with yuka in your arms, and a few tears escape your eyes.
"oh, no, it's fine! you don't owe me anything!" you look up to meet his eyes, and he gives you a goofy smile. "it's just what i do."
you stand up straight, wiping your tears. "well at least let me offer you something. dinner, perhaps?" the avatar shakes his head, telling you that he already ate. after thinking for a bit, you light up with an idea. after telling the avatar to wait there, you jog to your house as fast as you can without disturbing yuka.
when you get into your house, you set yuka down on the couch, and go to your room and grab something from off your dresser, and run out of the house again, putting five slips of paper into his hands.
"it's tickets for a show i'm in," you say, slightly out of breath. "it's tomorrow evening, 6 flashes of the candle (a/n: thats 6pm). it's, um, about the cave of two lovers." the avatar stares at the slips blankly, making you worry.
"it's not much, compared to what you've done for me, but i hope that you'll take it." he takes his eyes off the tickets to look at you, and a smile forms on his face.
"thank you. i'll try to be there." he smiles at you, and you can feel your face becoming warmer and your stomach fluttering, but you push it down, reminding yourself that that was forbidden territory
he bows to you, and you bow back as he opens his glider and takes off into the sky. you wait and watch as he goes, and once he's out of sight you go back home where your baby is.
