After leaving the Shelby's estate, Mia ignored her brother and instead of going straight home she met up with Grace at the Garrisons. Though the brunette despised surrounding herself with people she didn't care about, but she was Riley sister and knew he and the peaky blinders came to the Garrisons regularly; thus it was only appropriate that Mia made an appearance but she didn't really mind it as she got on like a house on fire with the new barmaid.

Currently, Mia had persuaded Harry to allow herself and Grace to sing a song, a song her best friend had written and no one had ever heard before causing men and women to focus their attention on the two women as their voices blended beautifully together like a sweet melody like they were born to be on a stage with how amazing their voices were especially since the people of small Heath was hypnotize with Mia Davis by her beauty and how she drew people in with her voice.

Grace and Mia were both stood on the bar top, singing confidently and clearly with a red headed girl who was playing the beat of the music causing the people to gawk at the two women as it was like they were at a concert instead of the local pub round the corner. The blonde barmaid turned to face the crowd as she began to sing, 'It doesn't hurt me (Ye-yeah, yeah, yeah) Do you want to feel how it feels? (Ye-yeah, yeah, yeah)'

Mia beamed brightly as she made her way over to stand next to Grace who locked eyes with her causing the brunette to send her a reassuring wink as Mia joined in, 'Do you want to know, know that it doesn't hurt me? (Ye-yeah, yeah, yeah) Do you want to hear about the deal that I'm making? (Ye-yeah, yeah, yeah) You...'

The two women were stood face to face as they both started to sing together surprised that the men and women were humming along to the song as the war changed many things but it seems that singing brought a certain light to their lives and reminded them who they were before they went off to France, '. It's you and me. And if I only could, I'd make a deal with God, And I'd get him to swap our places'

'Be running up that road' Grace continued with a grin on her lips as she couldn't remove her eyes from Mia holding in a laugh as the brunette playfully spun around with her dress flowing around her ankles as she stood on the other side of the bar top near a group of men looking down at them as her soft voice echoed through out the room, "Be running up that hill" Mia and Grace both turned their attention to one another ignoring the men and women who were humming and quietly singing along once they got used to the song the two girls were singing, 'Be running up that building.'

Suddenly, the men's and women's singing quieted and they all turned away from Mia and Grace as if they were afraid by whoever it was that had walked into the pub, Mia who heard the door opening turned her attention to the entrance watching as Tommy and his brothers walk into the pub watching as everyone parted across the room like the Red Sea with Riley and a few blinders walking behind them, all the men focused on Mia's and Grace's voice as the brunette raised her brows in a challenging manner not the slightest bit afraid of any of the Shelby family.
