Lily laughed lowly, stunned by what he said. What did he say? She must have been hearing things.
"What?" she asked with a confused smile. She could have sworn he said...
" I want you to kiss me." Nick said it again without a lick of hesitation. Her eyes grew in size, her mouth falling open as she stared into his intense blue eyes.
"Stop playing Nick." Alex snarls. The growl in his voice surprised Lily, her eyes snapping to the boy next to her. She could not believe it came from him.
Roy laughed nervously upon his spot on the floor, "Nick come on what do you really want? Food?"
Nick scoffed, leaning back in his seat, thumb rubbing upon his lips, "I just said what I wanted. Twice now."
"Oh..." Lily could barely get a sound out. Her lips were unable to form words. She looked at Alex who sucked in a harsh breath, he stood up with his fist balled, "Nick." He sneered, looking like he was going to jump across the room and hit him.
Nick gave Alex a taunting grin, the boys glaring at each other as the room became heavy.
Roy stood, giving Lily a worried glance as he stepped toward Alex. "C-come on guys stop... You are worrying Lily..."
Alex pulled his gaze from Nick, giving her a frown. "I'm sorry Lily, it looks like Nick hit his head on the way in, we are going to go."
"No no no no." Nick shook his head with a mischievous laugh, "Don't make me out to sound like a wack job. I'm not going to do this. Sit here and let her think of me like a fucking brother. We did that shit last time. I refuse to let her come back and think otherwise. Lily I'm not your brother and we are not blood related. But I have other ways for us to be family."
His words only seemed to further piss Alex off. His eyes seemingly telling the other boy their will be consequences. She had never dreamed of seeing such a look on his features, or hear the words coming out of Nick's mouth. Lily furrowed her brows, looking between the two, afraid of a fight breaking out, but more importantly, she was just. Confused.
His words hit her with a force she could not fathom, she knew what he said she just couldn't- wouldn't- was unable to comprehend them. Her mind blocked away the truth of the matter as she looked at him and asked, "What..." She swallowed her saliva trying to clear her voice, setting her cup down so she could focus on the task at hand. "What are you trying to say, Nick?"
Nick looked almost too excited to tell her, "I'm glad you asked. Liliana Evans, I'm in love with you and I had been in love with you since we were kids. I'm not talking about brother and sister love either. The kind of love where I want to fuck you to sleep every night and wake you up in the morning with breakfast... And my cock."
"N-Nick." Lily gasped as her palm slapped her mouth. Her face completely red.
"Nick come on dude..." Roy, pushed Alex back as he tried to get to the other boy.
"Let. me. Go." Alex hisses at Roy but the boy shakes his head.
"Calm down."
"Wait it gets better because these two want the same as me. I can tell you for a fact all three of us have spilled a hefty amount of cum for you this week alone."
Roy could do nothing as he was pushed to the side. Alex was on Nick in a flash, yanking him up by his shirt. Roy was shouting and Nick only laughed, his arms dangling as if Alex wasn't giving him a death glare. Alex was breathing heavily, lip up in a curl."Shut the fuck up Nick or I will put you in the ground."
"Stop - damn idiots!" Roy was in between the two trying to push them apart.
"Come on Alex your tough-guy persona doesn't work on me I'm not one of your goons. I know you better than you know yourself brother, so stop acting like I'm the only one in this boat. I am more than willing to scoot over for you." Nick ended with a wink.
Alex fist pulled back making Lily shoot up.
"Ok! Ok, guys stop!" Lily was now getting in between them, placing a hand on Alex's arm. "Please... I don't like when you guys fight." Begrudgingly Alex dropped his arm along with his head.
"I think it's time for us to take our leave," Roy spoke softly.
Nick rolled his eyes, "Lily do you want us to leave?"
Lily caught his blue eyes, piercing through her with such intensity. He was still Nick, but now... Now he was just different. She was seeing him in a different light. His mere presence made her heart stutter. He was no longer her small little blonde, and he did not view her with familial eyes. His eyes saw more than a girl or a sister. He looked at her as a woman, her curves her lips- he desired more than loving hugs and whispers of a job well done.
He wanted to cross that line... and that alone had her dizzy. "I... I need some time to think..."
Nick looked as though she had stabbed him in the chest, he shook his head as he walked around her.
"Nick I'm sorry..." She called but he gave her no reply.
She heard her door open and slam shut. Her family pictures shaking in fright.
"Thanks for the night Lily..." Alex was the next to go, leaving her without much of a glance.
"Sorry..." Roy offered as he too left, at least he gave her his eyes but only for a split second.
"It's fine... have a good night... Drive safe."
The door opened again but this time it shut gently.
Lily sighed loudly flopping upon her couch as she placed a hand on her face. No part in her mind could believe the events that just happened. Her head was throbbing and she wasn't sure if it was the alcohol or not.
Maybe in due time, Nick will forget about his crush on her. At least that's what she hoped. She pushed herself forward to grab her phone, looking through her text messages. There were no new notifications.
She furrowed her brow, clicking on her fiance's contact. She hoped nothing bad happened. Just as she called an error popped up.
She huffed realizing her phone was on airplane mode, how did that happen?Taking it off airplane mode her device began to ping with notification after notification. Lucas texted her with worry. Okay, now she needed to call him.
On the first ring, he picked up, "Liliana?"
"Hey, sorry somehow I put my phone on airplane mode."
Lucas sighed on the other line, he seemed a lot more nervous than she realized. "Oh good, you had me so scared I thought those boys did something to you."
Lily made a face, "What do you mean? You make it sound like they would hurt me?"
"I mean... I don't know Liliana you had three young adults at your house."
"Excuse you? Those young adults are the boys I grew up with."
"I know that's why I didn't call the police-"
"The police!"
"I'm sorry! I was just worried... Especially after I called and then called again and it went to voicemail. It was like someone turned your phone off... I was just worried honey."
"Those boys would do nothing to hurt me. If anything I have three body guards so don't ever assume that again." Lily sighed leaning her head to the side as she pressed her fingers into her temple. Lucas went silent, probably muling over her words.
Putting the phone on speaker Lily looked through her phone log, he had called at six thirteen the first time. Lily licked her cheek in thought. She would have to say that was around the time they finished dinner.
"...I'm sorry honey...How... Did it go?" Lucas broke the silence as she breathed, thinking about how the entire night went.
From good to great to what ever this was.
"It was fine."
"Are they just how you remembered them?"
"...Yes."
Maybe deep down she always knew they had a crush on her. She even brought this to her mom's attention to which she laughed it off and said it was harmless. Lily had just turned a blind eye to it, thinking it would change with age. It had appeared she was sorely mistaken, it got worse.
