(Some sexual stuff but not too much since she's 16..no not with the kids you sicko....)

Boys didn't know much about..'love' . So when the Hawkins had first felt these weird emotions grow inside them they were only seven and eight. That's when it started to manifest itself. They had a crush on their babysitter. Usually boys would fall in love with their mother first. Not some sick passionate love, but more of a family love. Too bad they didn't have a mother figure in the picture that deserved that type of love. Their love for their mother was..unrequited. She was their mother after all, probably not the best but their mother nonetheless.

If their mother wasn't in the picture one would think that emotional bond would be with their father, but that didn't happen either. Their father was an addict who couldn't wait to get his fix, but to be fair he is trying for a better life. He works all day and then drinks himself to sleep at night with his hidden booze.

So the boys had each other. They were brothers. Together they helped each other, Alex taking charge and being the level headed brother he was. Nick was the muscle of the group and Roy was the smart one. They needed each other more for survival. It was just the three of them.

All that changed when they met Liliana. She was everything their mother and father wasn't. She was kind, passionate, and caring. Liliana would put them before herself over any situation. A goddess in their darken world, a world that should not have been their reality. For now their child like minds will hide their dark reality in the back of their noggins. Locked away to only reveal itself when they are older.

As long as they were at Lily's house they can forget about their disgusting living status. The rats that would crawl from room to room, or the heavy rotten smell that hung in the air. At  Liliana's house they would run around all day and play, of course after finishing their homework. At Liliana's house they could eat until their bellies were full. Delicious meals that she had made for them after watching a cooking show. She would always feel nervous about it but it was so good. Why did she need to feel like it wasn't enough? She would scold them for lying but they weren't lying. Everything she did was perfect. It was no wonder they fell for her. Amazing could not even describe Liliana. As long as it was just them, everything was fine.

Roy would always draw pictures of them all together living in a big house. Nick would laugh about it and make fun of him but Alex would smile. He wanted that too, that's why he worked so hard for Lily. He worked hard for all of them. His mother always told him if he worked hard enough for something he could achieve it. He wanted a happy life. That happy life included four people.

It was just Roy, Alex, Nick, Liliana...and some boy?

It was a Friday afternoon and Lily was waiting for them at the bus stop just like she had been doing for the past couple of years. The Hawkins were sitting in the back of the bus staring at their smiling babysitter. Her black hair pulled up in a lazy bun, and she wore a frilly pink shirt and short blue jeans. Next to her was a boy that was a bit taller than her, he had a baseball cap on, a black shirt and blue jeans. Black hair peaked out of the cap. She waved at them as the bus came around, but they did not wave back.

"Who's that boy next to leelee?" Nick whispered. His green eyes looked dark, a hand gripping  his basketball a bit tightly.

Roy frowned, eyes trained on the mysterious figure. "Is that her friend..?" He asked.

The bus screeched to a halt, and then the doors flew open. Alex said nothing as he slung his backpack over his shoulder, jumping up to leave the bus.
