Karma's POV

We had already found a table when I spotted Jay and Michael walking in together, shockingly she managed to keep her cool and be alone with him.

"What took you so long?" I asked her, genuinely curious as to why they took so long to come inside.

"Huh?" Jay responded.

"What took you guys so long to come inside, we've been sitting here for a while already".

"Oh nothing, I just zoned out again and Michael was the only one who noticed so I guess he waited until I came back to reality".

"Well try to stay with us for the rest of the night yeah?". I responded still slightly irritated by the fact that we were even here.

"Well I guess..sorry". Jay answered

"What are you apologizing for over there?" Ashton asked staring at me and Jay.

"It's nothing, sorry" Jay apologized yet again.

"You apologize a lot", Calum laughed as Jay started to blush most likely from embarrassment, she hated being put on the spot.

"So what is this place?" I finally asked.

"Oh it's CPK" Michael was the first to answer.

"CP what now?" I had no idea what he was talking about.

"California Pizza Kitchen, you've never been here?" Michael asked

Oh no, I looked over at Jay to see her shuffle through all the different menus on the table to find her own, she loved pizza and I mean LOVED pizza and wasn't at all shy about it.

"They speak the truth",she whispered to herself and luckily I was the only one who heard her weird self, I had to stifle a giggle.

I finally responded to Michael with "No, we usually stick to dollar menu items or whatever we have at home, and we're in Florida so what is this place even doing here? Shouldn't it be back in California?"

"Why do you have to question everything?" Calum asked.

"Why do you have to point out everything everyone does?" I questioned him remembering him pointing out Jay's apologetic behavior a minute ago. He was so annoying.
Where was our waitress at dammit?

Jay's POV

Our waitress finally showed up and of course we started ordering our drinks, when she got to Karma she responded with "Just a glass of water, please", letting the word water slip out with a New York accent and that was when I noticed Luke's head immediately shoot up from looking at his menu and straight at Karma.

I wasn't going to say anything but once our waitress left Calum was the first to speak up

"Did you get that Lukey? War-der", he nudged Luke. Luke put his head down in embarrassment, Ashton was laughing at Luke trying to get him to pick his head back up and when he finally succeeded Luke's face was as red as Karma's lipstick.

Karma and I just stared at each other in confusion, were they making fun of the accent slip or-

"Exactly what's so funny?", Karma asked interrupting my thoughts and sounding a bit defensive. Michael was the first to answer when he noticed our confusion.

"It's just that Luke has a thing for New York accents", he answered.

"Shut up!" Luke semi shouted at Michael, then put his head back down.

I looked over at Karma who was now blushing as much as Luke and all I wanted to do was find a way to get things back to normal.

"It's okay Luke-" I began, " I have a thing for guys with colored hair",there now hopefully everyone else can chime in with what attracts them and it'll turn into a normal conversation or what not but then I noticed everyone at our table was staring at me.....oh shit no!
