Karma's POV
The walk back to the house wasn't very far and I was still upset that Calum tagged along. I really just wanted to be alo-
"So why'd you want to leave?", Calum asked interrupting my thoughts.
" I already told you why." I said trying to avoid talking.
" Yah but there's more to it isn't there?", jeez this boy and his damm questions.
" Why do you ask so many questions?", I asked as I stopped walking to face him.
" To get answers that's kind of the way questions work", Calum answered back with a smirk. I would be laughing if I wasn't irritated right now.
" Very funny smart ass , sounds like something I would say" I said as I started walking again.
" Well thank you I'm known to be a smart ass sometimes", he said as he started walking next to me again, maybe this guy isn't so bad afte- no nope stop it Karma you can't get close to any of these boys. You can't put anyone in danger. I decided not to reply to that comment and just stay quiet. After a while Calum tried to start talking again but I just kept my answers short and blunt hoping he would get the hint but of course he didn't since he kept trying to make small talk.
About 15 minutes later we turned our final corner and arrived at the house.
" Thanks for walking me home I guess, even though I asked you not to", I said as I pulled my key chain out of my back pocket to unlock the door. I opened the door and entered the house, I turned around to say goodbye again but Calum was already walking in behind me. What the hell?
" You have a nice place here", he said as he took a seat on the couch.
" Umm thanks our grandma left it to Jay and I, but shouldn't you be getting back to the guys by now?" I said hoping he would leave so I could finally be alone.
" No, I texted Michael on the way over here and told him where I'm at so it's cool", he answered.
" Great", I mumbled to myself as I took a seat on the chair next to the couch.
" Why don't you like us?", Calum asked, his facial expression turning serious.
" What makes you think I don't like you guys?", I asked.
" Well for one you seemed a little irritated when Jay agreed to having you guys eat with us, then you didn't want me walking you home and lets not forget that I caught you climbing out of a window trying to ditch us." he answered back, shit what was I supposed to respond to that.
" I already told you I wanted Ja-"
" Okay I know that's not the real reason as to why you tried ditching us so what is it?", Calum asked interrupting me. I guess I could try the truth again,
" Fine, I don't want you guys getting to know me. I have a lot of baggage and I don't want you guys getting in the middle of it, I've tried so hard to keep Jay out of it and I don't want anyone else getting involved." I answered and he seemed a little taken back by my answer.
"What baggage? Does this have something to do with the guy that was following you at the concert?", Calum asked.
" That's not important, you don't need to know that. Look right now you need to go back to the restaurant and forget I told you any of this.", I said as I got up and opened the door.
" No", he said.
" No? What do you mean no?" I asked him.
" What could be so bad that yo-", Calum was saying but was interrupted by my phone going off. As I looked down to see who the message I just received was from I noticed it was from an unknown contact, was that even possible?
