Kimberly was checking on the others while Steve and Dustin were in the kitchen.

"Hey what's that- oh." She watched as the two shoved the demo-dog into the fridge.

Steve grunted and shoved it into the fridge, "Christ. Help me out."

"What am I supposed to do?" Dustin asked.

"Get the door, man."

"All right, I got the door."

"Ew. Jesus..." Steve held it back while Dustin shut the door.

"God..."

Steve pants, and places his hand on Dustin's head, "Phew!"

Dustin went back into the living room.

"You boys have fun with that?" She grinned.

Steve caught his breath, "Your brother wants to keep it because it's a 'groundbreaking scientific discovery'."

"Oh I know, and he's absolutely right. I would love to dissect that thing and figure out what makes it work."

Steve furrowed his brows at her.

"What? Aren't you curious? Plus it's already dead so why not?"

He just shook his head at her, "Come on. Let's help them clean."

Lucas and Max were sweeping up glass and Mike was pacing.

Lucas stops sweeping, "Mike, would you just stop already?"

"You weren't in there, okay, Lucas? That lab is swarming with hundreds of those dogs."

"Demo-dogs!" Dustin shouts.

Lucas says, "The chief will take care of her."

"Like she needs protection," Max mutters.

Steve sighs, "Listen, dude, a coach calls a play in a game, bottom line, you execute it. All right?"

"Okay, first of all, this isn't some stupid sports game. And second, we're not even in the game. We're on the bench."

"So my point is..." Steve stammers, "Right, yeah, we're on the bench, so, uh, there's nothing we can do."

Dustin points out, "That's not entirely true. I mean, these Demo-dogs, they have a hive mind. When they ran away from the bus, they were called away."

"So if we get their attention..." Lucas starts to think.

Max finishes, "Maybe we can draw them from the lab."

"And clear a path to the gate," Mike starts to plan.

Steve argues, "Yeah, and then we all die."

"That's one point of view."

"No, that's not a point of view, man. That's a fact."

"Not if we do it right, not if we are prepared," Kimberly gives a look to Steve.

"I got it! This is where the chief dug his hole. This is our way into the tunnel. So..." Mike points at the drawing, "Here, right here. This is like a hub. So you got all the tunnels feeding in here. Maybe if we set this on fire..."

Steve inputs, "Oh, yeah? That's a no."

"The mind flayer would call away his army," Dustin adds.

Lucas says, "They'd all come to stop us."
