Ch. 1 ~ A fabulous meet

- Lauren's POV -

Damn, I missed the meeting! I don't think they even know I'm here... oh well. I'm thinking building a giant cloud. (After hours of building the cloud) "Holy hell-" I sigh, and look down on the earth from my cloud. "Wow. That's- high up..." I say, and MLG water bucket down. I start progressing. I have a plan for that! I head to the nether like a speedrunner. "How have I not died yet-" I say and leave with enough eyes of ender to get to the End. "You know what, we'll risk it." And I go to find the Stronghold.

Woah- I did it?! I realize I should probably respawn it quickly, because I just have a bad feeling if it's gone, and somehow I do. I make it back home, and sleep. I then go offline, and wait until the next day, when everyone's offline again. I craft some cookies and explore a bit. I walk into something really creepy. "Where am I...?" Walking further in, I discover a book. What does the book say-? "The book of Angels and Devils." Well thats fun- "Once before humanity thrived, there were many different species alive that aren't now. One key example in Skycity's (Lauren's empire name) history, Angels and Devils. These beings were banished not too long ago by the humans. Some believe there are still some walking here on this earth. The Angels and Devils would get along, until humans had classified them as opposites, and manipulated them into hating each other. There were two important people here, Langsel (Lang-sell) and Bevisl. (Be-vee-sl) They were champions of the mystical animal that the Skycity worships, Phoenixes." Oh my lord- there's so much reading... "Langsel was bound to the fire Phoenix, and Bevisl was bound to the galaxy Phoenix, and were seen as gods to others. One day, after the humans manipulated angels and Devils against each other, Bevisl swore to bring hell to the humans, while Langsel wanted to try and talk to them. Bevsil disagreed, and the two started to fight. Years went by with Langsel and Bevisl fighting, and humanity was at the brink of extinction, so Langsel called out to the Fire Phoenix to help banish Bevisl. Banishing Bevisl, humanity was restored, and Langsel ended up passing away, seemingly taking the legend with them. But Bevsil had broken out of their cage in the vast space, and made it back on earth, disguising themselves as a regular citizen. The legends had died off, and with that came a new beginning. Melissia ----, the child of Bevsil, took the legend's place as ruler." Uh- "Melissia is my MOM!" I'm a descendent of legends?! No way. "Melissia is still in power, but will her children discover their true past...?" NO way-

Sh!t- I run home, and think of a way to get up. I tower up with scaffolding and break it from above. "Oh lord- I need- how can, Oh no I see him!" I crouch and watch from above. I can slightly hear him say "When did this get here? Never knew Rivendell had man-made clouds?" "So that's the name, Rivendell..." I say, not realizing he can hear me. "Hello?! Where are you?" Shoot. "I jump down, and gracefully land like I had elytra, but I don't? "I- uh- hi?" I stutter. "Hello mysterious winged girl from above. "Winged?!" I yelp, looking behind me, to see humongous wings, with an intricate galaxy pattern. "Oh- Hello Scott of Rivendell." I say, reaching out to shake his hand. "And you are- wait how do you know my name?!" "I hear everything you say" I say. "Oh. And you are?" "Oh, I'm Lauren, of Skycity!" I say, shaking his hand. "When did you get on the server, Lauren? We never saw you at the meeting?" He asks "Oh I missed it, and you all didn't know, so I progressed when you all were offline." "Ah- I see. Could I by any chance, see your empire?" He asks. "Sure, hang on tight!" I say, tightening my grip on his hand, and use my new wings to fly him up. "Welcome to Skycity!" I welcome him. "Woah. That's a lot of stuff." "I guess you could say that-" I say and realize I had an extra crown I custom made. "Oh, I have a welcome gift!" I hand him the sky-blue coloured crown, with galaxy crystals. "Oh, thanks-" He says, and hesitates to walk closer to the edge. "I- need to go-" He says, and MLG water buckets down. "Bye!" I say. "Huh." I mutter. I enter my castle, and start building another cloud island.

Oh lord, that was quick. I quickly craft another crown, and get a bit distracted, but still hearing them talk "Just up here- mind helping? You've got water, I don't." He talks. "There's a name up there, Scott." "I know." He says. "Oh- keep going Lizzie-" and they finally get up. I walk out from behind my farm, glancing a distracted look at the pair. "Oh- who's this?" She asks, slightly glancing at Scott "Hi! I'm Lauren, from Skycity." I say, focusing on the situation and shaking the new person's hand. "I'm Lizzie, from The Ocean Empire. Ocean's blessings!" She says. "Oh- thanks?" "Could I take a look around?" Lizzie asks. "Sure!" I say, smiling. "Oh, Lauren!" Scott walks up to me. "What?" "You hadn't met the others, have you? I can get them on!" He suggests. "Oh- sure!" I say, reluctantly. He goes afk, then a million people join.
