Anyways I might continue the story again after Ch. 9??? I have some ideas maybe but idk yet :] Anyways alt ending no. 1

- Scott's POV -

[Continuing from when Lauren and Scott are flying to Skycity and Rivendell]

We fly to Skycity, and see it crumbling, slowly. "Oh no... no. No. NO." Lauren says, stopping dead in flight. "Lauren, we need to get your stuff-!" I say, and pull her to the cloud. "Oh no." She looks at the gaping hole underneath her cloud that goes to the void. I float beside her, and moments later, she flies over, but is pulled down by a giant black tentacle. "HELP!" She screams, and I fly over, grabbing her hand and trying to pull her up. The tentacle pulls us both into the void, and a giant cloud piece falls, just barely missing us. The tentacle lets go, and we seem to endlessly fall, before another cloud piece falls, hitting Lauren.

[laurenzside was crushed to death in the void.]

"Lauren-!" I say, narrowly dodging clouds. I fly up, managing to save one singular thing from her empire, her spare cape. I run to Rivendell, and put it on before checking on the crystal. "He's gone..." I say, and run to the surface. (Skipping most of that-)
I plunge the sword into my chest, and fall to the ground. Everything goes black.
I wake up on the side of a hill, and for the first time in forever, smell fresh air. Where am I...? Is this- Rivendell-? But- I think to myself as I walk across the path. "Where am i-?" I say out loud. "Uh- Rivendell?!" I hear Xornoth say. "Wha- Xornoth?" I ask, panicked but confused. "Yes! You're acting like you've never seen your own brother before! I'd say you're acting weird." He says. "Hey- no I'm not!" I say. "That's the Scott I know. Now go get things done! Mom and dad are gonna get mad!" He says, and runs off. "O- okay..." I say. I walk backwards, looking at the lanterns in the sky, and the non-corrupted buildings. "So- this is Rivendell?" I mutter, then bumb into someone. "Oh- I'm so sorry-!" I say, turning around and seeing Lauren. "Ow- it's okay-!" She says, and I help her up. "You okay? You look confused." She says, laughing. "Y- yeah. I'm alright!" I say, and smile. "Sure." She says, and giggles. "Go see Jimmy, huh? He misses you" She jokes, and walks away. "Huh. So it worked." I say, and walk up to the main hall. "I- It worked-" I say. "It worked!" I say. "What worked?!" Jimmy says behind me. "J- you scared me-" I say, and sigh. "Seriously- now, I've made food, so come in before it gets cold, or else you're on cleaning duty next week." He says, and walks into the main hall. "I guess happy endings do exist." I say. "Yeah, they really do." Lauren says from beside me. "Huh- oh. Cmon then, let's eat." I say, and drag her to the dining room. We sit down at the table and eat the best food ever. "Dang- this is good!" I exclaim. "Thanks!" Jimmy says, and grabs my empty hand. "Lovebirds-" Xornoth mutters. "Uh huh! What you gonna do about it?" I tease him, and we all giggle. A couple hours later, me and Jimmy go to our room. "You were acting weird earlier, what was that about?" He says. "Heh- I don't know..." I say, and don't even bother changing, and get into bed. "Cmere." I say, and Jimmy gets into the bed with me. I wrap my arms around him. "I love you, Scott." He says. "Love you too." He says, smiling. (Fluff :D) We lay there for a couple minutes, not talking. Eventually, Jimmy hugs me back, and I blush. Happy endings always exist.
