(September 17th, 2014)

Day by day passed quickly. And it is already Wednesday. The day I've been dreading has finally come right in front of my eyes. I'm excited to see Harry's family but on the other hand, I can't help but feel like something's gonna go wrong. It really just indescribable feeling in my stomach.

Harry had helped me to choose the dress yesterday. It's a beautiful knee length red dress. It was quite pricey so I instantly put it back on the rack but he insisted to pay for it. I told him that he didn't have to buy it for me. Sadly enough, he was so stubborn and kept telling me that it was his job to pay for my dress since he was the one who asked me to accompany him. We had an argument at the store, bickering with pure ambition.

In the end of the day, he won the argument and took the £136 dress to the cashier. There was no way I won that argument though. Seeing as I only have £50 in my wallet, of course I let him win. It's not like I'm using him for money. I just simply accepting the fact that he came from a wealthy family.

"Grace!" Lucy let out a gasp when she sees me. "You- this- amazing. You look incredibly beautiful with that. I one-hundred percent approve it," she told me while grinning. "But your neck looks too plain, do you have a necklace, a red ones, maybe?"

I nodded while staring my reflection in the mirror. After rumaging my box of accecories, I stumbled across a red ruby necklace shaped in a tiny heart. It was one of Sandra's favourite piece of jewelry. Granny gave it to her when she was twelve, telling her that it was the best gift she'd ever received from her husband, grandpa.

I wear it carefully and standing in front of the mirror again. I almost don't recognize myself if it weren't for my eyes. They shine beautifully and I think I've never liked it until now. My hair is just the way it normally is, I just add bobby pins to keep them in place.

My eyes travelled to my feet. They are covered in a pair of red velvet heels, perfect for the dress. And it wasn't exactly mine actually, I borrow them from Lucy. She said that I would look fabulous with them.

My phone vibrated from my bed, signaling a new message.

From: Harry

I'm outside

I smiled at his message. Although it's not a date but I'm still nervous. Alright, let's do this. "He is outside. Do you want to walk me out?" I asked Lucy sheepishly.

"Sure thing, my pleasure to walk you out to your first date in college."

Really? I groaned at her but she just laughed it off, telling me she was just joking. After grabbing my purse, phone, and a black leather jacket, we got out from the room and walking to the parking lot.

"How many times do I have to tell you? It really is not a date. He just asked me to be his company at his family dinner because he doesn't want to feel left out, okay?" I shake my head but smiling slightly.

"Oh, come on. Don't act like you don't like it," she said, the amusement was evident in her eyes.

But she was right. Despite my friendship with Harry which only started four days ago, I still like the idea of spending my night with him. He is a decent company. There is no way I'm gonna deny that little fact of him.

Harry was leaning againts his black Range Rover when we arrived at the parking lot. I tried to make Lucy meet him but she just simply shrugged it off and walking back upstairs.

I walk slowly to him, trying not to trip over the heels, while examining his outfit. He is wearing the clothes I chose for him last Saturday. He also wearing a pair of black shiny shoes which makes him even more attractive if that 's even possible.
