I started walking home from the boba shop after saying bye to Desert. As I walked into the kitchen to grab a Coke when Thorn walked in " Haven't you had enough sugar already?" I froze " Alright you caught me, boss. Would you like me to eat a carrot instead?" I knew she was playing with me and I handed her one too. My phone pinged, it was Desert. I started blushing a bit, I could feel Thorn looking over at me, so I changed the subject, " Hey is Stonemover here yet?" Thorn sighed " No... He told me that when he's working he feels like he's slowly turning to stone." she sighed, and my phone pinged again " Who's texting you? Hm?" I checked my phone again, still, Desert " Just a friend. I'll be in my room let me know when Stonemover gets home!"
