Ok so tomorrow Qibli will pick me up at 5:00 so we can hang out before the movie. KNOCK! " Come in!" my "dad" walked into my room " Did you do your homework, because you know you can't go to the movies if you don't do it." I rolled my eyes " You know that I did it already! Now please get out of my room!" as he left the room I took out my journal from under my bed scrawled on the first pages was my escape plan, obviously, my 'dad' wouldn't care but my mom is so frizzy and so busy at work she wouldn't notice. So I started drifting off into an empty sleep waiting for tomorrow.

As I was watching tv the doorbell rang " Coming!" I opened the door " Oh hi Desert!" I smiled and fully opened the door " Here come in I want you to see my latest project!" but as I reached my room my 'dad' stepped in front of me " Who. Is. That?" he growled deep in his throat I rolled my eyes " Dad he's my best friend and I wanted to show him my project!" he gave Qibli a stern look over " Where did you get that scar boy? How old are you? Are you in the same classes?" I could see Qibli trying to muster some courage " My mom has a very grumpy cat, I'm 17, and I have all the same classes as Desert." my 'dad' raised an eyebrow " OK but Desert keep the door open!"
