My phone blipped softly and the call ended I lay there on my bed looking at the empty ceiling. After I don't know how long I hear the front door open, then I heard shuffling up the stairs, then a soft knock at the door " Hey Qibli, Dad's home, and Mom wants you to come downstairs." My little half-sister Sunny came inside my room and sat down on my bed next to me " Hey are you ok?" I heaved a long sigh " I don't know anymore. But can u tell Thorn I'll be down in a min-" "QIBLI! SUNNY! COME DOWNSTAIRS!!! "Nevermind... " I mumbled as I walked down the stairs and sat down in one of the plump chairs in the living room, then Sunny sat down next to me, Stonemover and Thorn were already sitting in front of us with two boxes next to them Sonemover cleared his through and said, " So I know things have been hard this year so we got you a present." He grabbed one of the boxes and handed it to me, I took it suspiciously, but as I opened the box the thing inside barked then I fully took off the top to reveal a puppy! I turned around to look at what Sunny got, I realized she was cuddling a cute kitten, " Okay what are u guys gonna name them?" asked Thorn eagerly, I looked down at the small puppy ( Who was barking) " I think I want to name him Cactus." the little kitten meowed and started purring " And this is fluffy!"
Whooo another chapter done and only in 269 words! Anyways I will be trying to update more often.
