"Alaric Saltzman is supposed to be dead," said Nik.
"Well, he's not and he's a vampire thanks to mother's spell with a white oak stake that can't kill him!" Rebekah exclaimed. Keira stared at her.
"Bex, you gave Nik the last white oak stake and we watched it burn!" she said.
"Esther was possessing me when that happened! I dunno, I must have given you a different stake and kept the real one!" said Rebekah. Nik rubbed his head. "He's stronger than us Nik. He's too strong."
"Where is he now?" Nik asked.
"He's stuck at the school without a daylight ring, but as soon as night falls he'll come after us. We need to leave now."
"Fine. I'll collect Elena, we'll be on our way," Nik said. Rebekah glared at him.
"Forget Elena! You don't need any more stupid hybrids!"
"What I need is protection from Esther's continued assaults against us."
"We'll protect each other, like we always have. Always and forever, Nik!"
"I'm not leaving without her."
"I'm leaving now. You can either walk out that door with me or you are on your own," said Rebekah, most likely forgetting Keira existed. Nik didn't say anything and looked at her.
"Rebekah-" Keira started.
"Fine. Trust your hybrids over your family. Let your spite be the death of you, see if I care," Rebekah replied. "Are you coming with me, Keira, or staying with our hybrid obsessed brother?"
Keira rubbed her head. "Oh my god... fine, I'm coming," she grabbed her phone and began to followed Rebekah out, leaving Nik alone.
"Move it, sire boy!" Rebekah exclaimed as Tyler walked in. Keira could hear Tyler asking what her problem was from the entrance door.
Keira and Rebekah were halfway through Atlanta when they ran into another one of their brothers.
"Elijah?" Rebekah said. "What the bloody hell are you doing here?"
"Keira as been texting Kol and I updates about the recent events of Mystic Falls. I'm heading back there now. Also, according to my source, Niklaus has been desiccated and is now laying in a coffin. So are either of you coming back with me?" Elijah said bluntly.
"I told Kol I'd meet him in Nevada," said Rebekah. She then looked at Keira. "Go if you want, I don't really care."
Keira sighed as Rebekah sped away, but she didn't follow. Then she looked at Elijah.
"Just like old times," she said, before they both sped away.

"So what exactly has been going on in Mystic Falls these past few days?" Keira asked.
"From what I've learned, Elena has acquired a head injury and is confined to the Gilbert Family Residence, Niklaus endured a heart stopping enchantment and is currently desiccated and in danger of being killed by Alaric Saltzman, who is now a powerful vampire with an indestructible white oak stake," said Elijah. Keira raised her eyebrows. Then she realized where Elijah had led her.
"Why are we at the Gilbert house?" she asked.
"I need to speak with Elena," Elijah said, knocking on the door. The doppelganger opened the door and gasped in surprise.
"Stefan..." she said to Stefan and Matt, who were in the kitchen.
"Elijah," Stefan said.
"Hello again."
