A/N: Book 2 will be about Season One of The Originals. If there's a book 3+ it will center around The Originals Seasons, and this story is coming to an end pretty soon.

"What do you mean you're leaving!?!" Rebekah exclaimed.

"That sentence very literally means I'm leaving Mystic Falls," Keira replied. Rebekah put her hands out in a confused gesture.

"Why are you leaving Mystic Falls?" she asked.

"Sorry sis, but that's my business. All you need to know, is that I'm leaving after this party to Manhattan, and I'm probably not coming back for a while," Keira said, sipping beer from a red cup.

"But what about school?"

"Come on, Bekah. I don't need school. I see no need to learn science, math, English, physics, or physical education, and I already know all the history on earth, I was there for most of it."

"Why can't you tell me why you're leaving?!?"

"Because, if I tell you you'd go off doing things I can't have you doing."

"Well, aren't you going to be alone if you leave?"

"Not exactly," Keira muttered. Rebekah furrowed her eyebrows.

"Please tell me you're not going off with Nik of all people!" she exclaimed.

"I wouldn't, not after what he did to you!"

"And yet you're leaving me anyways?"

"Come on, Rebekah. You can handle it."

"So who are you going to be with?!? Elijah?"

"No, I left him. I'm staying with Kol."

"Why the bloody hell would you go with Kol?"

"First of all, you know how close Kol and I are. Second, he technically is over eighteen, so no one would ask questions."

"He doesn't act like he's over eighteen though, you both are reckless when you're together and I don't want Nik to hunt you both down and put you both back in boxes!"

"Rebekah, you know Kol. He can be... sort of, responsible, ish, when he wants something."

"What does he want?"

"Nothing, yet. I haven't told him I'm tracking him, because if Nik finds out he'll follow me and I can't half that."

"What does he want though?"

"If I told you, you'd tell me it's just a fairytale."

"Seriously?"

"Yep. Well, this party is kind of boring, so I'm gonna go back to packing. See ya, sis. Keep in touch!" Keira said, before walking away. Rebekah scoffed and then stormed off to Elena and Stefan.

Later that day, Keira was about to leave when Nik appeared in front of her.

"Leaving so soon, sister?" he said. "Why? The party's just started!"

"I don't like it here, idiot," Keira replied. "New York is so much more fun, hundreds of people can go missing at a time and no one even asks questions."

"Now why would you go to New York," said Nik. "Does it have anything to do with the Five you were asking me about yesterday?"

"No," Keira lied. Hearing the jump in her heart, Nik raised an eyebrow.

"I can tell you're lying. You know I have daggers, right?"

"You know, a thousand years ago I probably would've said that you wouldn't, but, I guess we've proved that point wrong," Keira said. Nik sighed.
