I wonder what today will be like... I don't really have anyone to talk to anymore. And even the village still doesn't trust me. I sigh before even bothering to open my eyes.

Wait...didn't I fall asleep outside? Why am I laying in something soft? It feels like- I sit up hurrily and look around. This isn't my room...and it's definitely not kakashi's either. Who's house am I in? I take a look around and notice how messy it is. It's almost like a child's room. Next to me there's a tray with food on it and a note. Although I'm not sure what the point of leaving me a note is considering I still can't read.

Is this...Naruto's room? Upon closer inspection I notice a poster of ramen hanging next to the rookety bed, a picture frame of team 7, and a stuffed Kakashi doll. I don't understand the doll thing, but this definitely seems like it would be Naruto's room. I hop off the bed and quietly open the door, peeping outside into the living room. Naruto's sleeping on the couch with his legs resting on the arm test. The pillow is over his head to block out the sunlight. Plus there's a bunch of empty ramen bowls all over the place.

Stepping outside I think to myself maybe I should visit him more often to clean his house. He doesn't have a mother to do it for him after all. I walk over to Naruto and tower over the couch to watch him flick his toe at a rouge fly.

"Naruto-Kun?" I call out softly to him but get no response. I lean down a bit more and play with his hair "Naruto I'm not sure what time it is, but the birds are already outside playing instead of looking for breakfast. I'm assuming that means it's afternoon hours."

"Msfkf lwlsjb," his voice is inaudible from under the thick pillow on his face.

"Hm? What was that?"

He groans and slips the pillow off his face. Immediately having to squint and shield his eyes from the blazing sun that's seeping through his curtains. "Just a couple more minutes."

"Aw come now. Don't you want to go out and hang with me for the day? Actually wait. Don't you have training today? You should be up and about by now."

"Training isn't till laterrrr. Kakashi-Sensei said he had to meet with the hokage or something."

Probably to tell lord third I still have no reason to be trusted. The thought makes me depressed for a moment before I shut it out. "By the way Naruto, how did I end up here? When I fell asleep I was-...um well, not here."

He groans at his disturbance for peaceful sleep and thrashes to his side. "Sensei brought you here last night. He said you fell asleep in the rain because you didn't want to go back inside your apartment. And he said that it wasn't a good idea to place you in his apartment anymore. So he brought you to me."

"And I was asleep the whole time he brought me here?"

"Mhm. You were out pretty hard. Oh and uhm...there should be a tray with food on it in the room. I don't know if you saw it already or not. But Kakashi said something about you not eating yesterday and brought you some food. He made sure to make me relay the message of 'I'm really sorry' to you."

Figures. I must've had a rougher day than I thought yesterday. Yawning a bit myself I stand up and stretch my back out. Naruto takes the opportunity to fall right back asleep. I suppose I'll let him sleep a bit more while I eat breakfast.

Turning back, I sit on the bed and places the tray in front of me. I can't read but I can tell there's smiley face with a sweat drop next to it. He probably figured that's the only part of the message I'll understand. Frowning slightly, I throw the message into a trash can-which I was surprised Naruto had- and dig in. To be honest I was a bit skeptical because it looks so...round and flat. It was flabby too after I picked it up to inspect. Ontop of that, there was sweet smelling holes in it. What the heck is this, soggy bread? I find my appetite turned a bit off, yet compel myself to keep eating. I know I should be mad at him, but he did pay for this and I don't want to be ungrateful. Somehow I get the feeling I'm eating it completely wrong. Not like it matters too much. As long as I eat it. I pick it up and take a few bites at a time. Rich flavors of sweetness tingle my cheeks as the mellowness of the bread provides a blanket of soothing after flavors. I feel my cheeks light up at the new experiences and my eyes twinkle astonishingly.
