Waking up, I faintly remember falling asleep outside. Except, for some reason, I'm not outside anymore. W-what happened yesterday again? I forgot some of it. I uhm...there was a festival and balcony...hm. I turn my head and notice Kakashi sleeping shirtless next to me. He's holding my lower back and snoring quietly. I can't believe I almost forgot that Kakashi and I kissed! Twice! My eyes soften as they gaze at him. He's clearly tired from running around and doing nothing but work and then hanging out with me. I rest my hand on his face and caress his cheek gently. I hope I don't forget everything too quickly. I kiss his forehead before cuddling into his chest, but make sure not to wake him in the process. He ruffles his nose as my hair accidentally tickles him. Hehe how cute. I boop his nose and hold back a laugh at how irresistible I find him.
Looking at myself I notice I'm in a fancy dress...when and why did I put that on? Where did I even get this? I sigh at my inability to remember anything anymore. I go to run my hand through my hair and notice that it's up in what used to be a fancy bun-like style. Except it's messed up from sleeping on the bed. Even my hair is fancy. Who even did this for me? I know for a fact I never knew how to do this. I grumble before trying to undo my hair. It's useless though as I end up just tugging on my hair, hoping it'll come loose. Forget it...I'll undo it later. I snuggle into Kakashi more and try to recall yesterday. I really don't remember anything. All I remember is the word festival. Not even what it is. Uhm, Kakashi was with me when I was on the balcony. It's a bit washy after that, but I remember the kiss. Both the first and second time. Hehehe... my cheeks swell as I recall a more hyped-up version of what happened.
"Kakashi about this morning-...I want to tell you that-"
Imaginary Kakashi grips my hands and looks into my eyes. "I love you too. There's no need to say it out loud. I've been in love with you from the moment I brought you to the village."
My heart flutters as I swoon at the made-up scenario. "
Kashi~," I begin to speak. Yet lose myself for words as Kakashi comes closer to me. Holding me by the waist into his chest, and now taking off his mask to reveal a handsomely built jawline with a light scruff around his lips. They're thin but fitting for his face. Slowly he brings my face to his with a free hand and connects our lips. I squeal as quietly as I can to myself. Or at least I thought it was somewhat quiet. When I look up, coming back from my daydream, I see Kakashi confused as he looks at me with an "I just woke up- what the heck is going on" face.
"Did I wake you? I'm very sorry." I smile apologetically towards him.
He simply sighs and wraps his arms securely around my waist as he closes his eyes again.
He's going back asleep huh? I yawn and try to fall back asleep. It's no use though, all I can think about is the kisses from last night. The warm and safe feeling I got when it was just the two of us sharing a moment...I could feel love rather than saying it out loud.
I glance back up again at him, longing to have another kiss. "Kashi?" I whisper. I only want him to respond if he's awake. If he's asleep he won't hear my whispering.
"Hm?" He says after a moment.
"Oh, I didn't expect an answer. I thought you went back asleep."
"Nah, once I wake up, I wake up."
"I see...um...about last night..." I feel kind of embarrassed asking for another kiss. So I divert the topic. "Thank you for taking care of me. I don't remember much other than the balcony..." I giggle slightly. "I'm glad I haven't forgotten it." I scootch myself up so we are eye level. Although his eyes still haven't opened.
