Dipper's POV

During the past few days, I was starting to feel a bit worried about Bill. It made no particular sense, but it made my stomach twist in a knot. Especially today, I couldn't bare to get up due to the pain. It was almost a depressed feeling..

Is this what he meant by this bond?

I can't live like this!

But, I'm actually glad today was illuminacho free. It was safe and quiet, so that was a big plus.

My relaxation was quickly ruined by a brick shattering through my window with a note taped on it.

I walked over, picking up the note.

What the heck?!-

I scoffed, pushing the paper aside.

"And just when it couldn't get any worse.." I muttered as I walked to the window and brushed
some sharp pieces off the ledge.

Bill stood a distance near the Shack, looking up at me and waving at the window. I sighed heavily, rolling my eyes.

"What do you want?!" I called in irritation.

"Pine- Dipper," Bill cleared his throat. "I know I've been a...jerk lately and yes I can be impulsive," Bill rubbed the back of his neck while I smile in pure joy.

"Go on-" I mused.

"Shut it!" Bill snapped before regaining his composer.

"But, I need your help and I have no where else to go."

I sighed heavily. "The most powerful being, after all these years, asks me for help?" I ask, skeptical.

Bill makes a small pouty face, looking to the side. "Maybe.."

"I'm..kind of glad you're here actually. My stomach has been hurting all day, but now that I know you're here and safe, I mean it's really reassuring. It's..kind of weird." I explain.

"Really? I couldn't even leave this place without checking in on you while you were sleeping!" Bill blurts.

Great. The bond is working.

"Wait did you say you were watching me sleep?!" I yelled.

"What?! Well, maybe! I was just a little creepy, but I can't help it!" Bill hissed.

"Okay goodbye stalker!" I called, jumping off and walking away.

"Nooooooo please I need your help!" Bill whines.

I stuff my face in my pillow, tired of his nonsense.

There was silence, before I sigh in relief.

Finally, he's gone.

"Do penguins have knees?" Bill asked from behind me.

I screamed, smacking a pillow on his face. He fell backward, hitting the ground.

"OW! Ow? Oh! It hurts! How hilarious!" Bill exclaimed just begin to laugh spasm like a maniac.

I sit on the bed criss crossing my legs as well as my arms. He can't just sneak into my ROOM and expect to live here!

"Fine I'll help! Okay, just stop barging in! What do you need my help with anyways?"

Bill grinned in victory. He wobbled forward, using the desk for extra support before looking at me. Now that I mention it, he was a mess. His blond hair now full of dirt, sticks and leaves. Dirt and scratches lined his arms with tears through his outfit.

"I need you to help me be redeemed! Change me! Like maybe showing me what a human is like!" He adds, throwing his arms up.

Please, give me mercy Axolotl-

"Okay. First off, you aren't going out like that." I state, motioning to him.

"Why not?!" Bill pouts.

"You look like you fell down a hill!" I protest back.

"Since you don't have any clothes that fit you..maybe you just need to clean your face a little bit-" I say to him, grabbing some handy wet towels.

He recoiled, narrowing his eyes. "There is no way in life that I will let you shove a disgusting rag on my-"

I shoved it on his face, quickly wiping and cleaning away anything he apparently got stuck on into his hair and face. He kicked and squirmed the while time, pulling my wrist away only for me to come back with more.

"Hold- still!-" I grumbled, swiping his face. He spat and stuck his tongue out until I eventually got it all off. He was clean enough.

"I'll go. Just meet me in the woods. I'll go get my shoes-" I let out a scream as my legs trip over the nearby dresser. I faced myself for impact but was quickly lifted off the ground by my waist and pulled back onto my feet. Bill gripped tightly for a while, his blank expression looking at the ground. I blushed at the sudden closeness.

"Uhm..Bill? You there?" I ask, waving my hand in front of his face. He blinked a few times before looking at me.

"Yeah yeah..ack! Ewww I touched a human!" Bill whines, throwing his hands off and making me faceplant on the hard floor.

"What the heck?! And stop whining you're human too!" I snapped, holding my nose.

"It was like my body did the immediate reaction without me even thinking..." Bill murmured, tapping his chin when a blush spread through his face.

"We can figure this out- ..uh are you okay you're face is a little red," I checked his forehead. I mean it was a little bit hot, but nothing too feverish.

Bill snapped my hand away, looking off quickly.

"Meet you there Pinetree!" Bill exclaimed, jumping out the window. I winced when I heard the big thump.

I frantically got my stuff together and ran downstairs. Stan was just watching TV on the 'Dutchess'? Whatever that is.

"Bye Grunkle Stan! I'll be out in a-"

Ford stepped in front of the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" Ford asked, raising an eyebrow.

Oh no.

"O-Oh me? Uhm, I'm just going through the town. Maybe I can get some food over there." I lied, zipping my backpack up. Ford watches my movements like a hawk, stepping aside.

"Alright be careful out there.."

"Yeah! Just don't get arrested!" Stan yelled back, clicking the channels without a single glance.

I laugh nervously, feeling for the doorknob. "Right right. Bye!" I called, leaving.
