3rd Pov
"Are you pulling my leg right now, because it's not fucking funny" Angelina fumed.
Her house is full of gunshot holes, broken windows, and furniture. And to make matters worse our resident husband is insisting that she goes into hiding for her safety while he stays here.
'For you to bring random people inside to do God knows what ' she thought narrowing her glaze at the sin incarnate.
"He's right, it wouldn't be a wise idea to stay here, while the house is like this," he stated gesturing towards the disaster she once called home.
'who's side are you even on Daichi?' she exclaimed, slightly glaring at the taller male counterpart.
"Give me your keys." she stretched out her hand towards her husband waiting for him to drop the keys into her palm.
"Why," he asked confused tilting his head slightly as his already messy brown hair fell over his eyes.
"Give me your damn key already," the volume of her voice rose a couple of octaves as her anger flared.
As this was happening Daichi excused himself for the two as not to get thrown into whatever they had going on, to pack up his belongings. Rayon complied handing over his keys to her confused as to what she could want with them. He stood the and watched as she took the house key off his key, shoving it in her pocket before handing him his key chain with only his car keys on it.
"Why'd you take my house keys? staring at her in disbelief
" I don't know Rayon, why don't you take a look around I can't leave anything I value in your possession they either end up dead or destroyed" she raised her voice at him eyes filled with so much resentment that it could rival the sun.
His face morphed into one of distress at the uncomfortable turn the conversation came to, yeah what happen, happened seven years ago he can't change that even if he tried but it broke him too and that may even be what he made himself believe over the years.
" I felt bad about what happened back then I even apologized, can't you forgive me and move on?" he questioned stepping forward towards her and reaching out for her hand to comfort her but what Rayon failed to realize was he was seven years too late.
She backed away from him glaring at his sudden movements.
"Apologizing can't bring back the dead, forgiving you won't fix this to make it better it never does" she scoffs at him as the ushered tears welled up in her eyes, vision blurred as her voice shook.
They both knew the rift between them has been torn from that day on maybe even before, but they can't leave the contract forbade them. Traped and isolated like birds in cages wanting to take flight.
"I didn't intend for that to happen" he tried to explain to her but all she heard were pathetic excuses to save his hide.
"If you didn't intend to why did you push a heavily pregnant woman down a flight of stairs." she stared at him as the unwilling tears cascaded down her cheeks.
She didn't stay to hear the rest of his guilt trip, if she stayed she'd fall for it all over again like the love-sick fool she was and probably still is. No matter how much she hated him she could never truly hate him and she hates herself for it.
She stops at the threshold of the door looking over her shoulder at the man she was once truly happy with, as the hurt clouds his eyes as he looked at her brows furrowed.
"One day, I'll repay you for it.... by tenfolds" spoke into the silence of the room, and continued walking away.
'Rayon..... you are the worse regret of my existence.'

.......Time-skip......
Twenty minutes into the drive Angelina ask for a ten-minute stop at the cemetery before they left the state. Daichi who had overheard everything through the thin walls they were shouting how could he not have heard them go at each other's throats. Even though curiosity got the better of him he didn't ask because it was simply none of his business and there was nothing he could do to help anyway.
"Do you want me to accompany you or do you want to be alone?" glancing at her from the rear view mirror.
She didn't look at him to give a response she just exited the car and walked off into the cemetery. Her eyes are puffy and from all the crying, tear stains litter her distressed face, as she walks the path she knows from memory.
' I guess that's a no then' he sighs running his hand through his hair.
Angelina continued walking until she came to stop in front of a grave.

She sat in front of the only thing of her son as the tears start to build up again. running her finger over the letter as she imagined how he would have been.
"The first promise I made to you I couldn't fulfill it, I'm sorry" she whispered as her tears fell to the floor.
' Maybe in another life, we wouldn't have gone through this' she thought.
" I want him to feel what I felt losing you" she whispered shoulders shaking as she continued to cry.
Over the past seven always made time to visit his grave, either to just take or break down in tears. She cursed at herself for what her life has became, losing her unborn child was one of the many signs of her failed marriage and evaporating love. Ske stayed bonded by a contract slowing swallowing her hole.
she stood looking at his grave once more turning before walking back to the car. wiping the tears from her already puffy face careful of the gash on her face.
" Goodbye, for now, my sweet Caspian," she said with a small smile.
Once inside the car Angelina eventually fell asleep during the eight-hour ride to god knows where.
