3rd Pov
Angelina spent two hours cleaning the upstairs rooms, and bathroom. It was the most she had sneezed in a while now her nose was all stuffy and runny. Blowing her nose with some tissue, she looked at her appearance in the mirror above the sink in the bathroom.
"Well don't you look like hell" she mocked.
She leaned over the sink to give herself a better look around the bandage on the cheek. lightly applying pressure around the cover gash, she hissed at the sharp pain from her provocation. Further assessing her newly obtained facial accessories, she sigh at how swollen, bruised, and tender the area was than the rest of her face.
'Let's hope I look good with scar or else I'm gonna cry' the complained
"haah" she blow air from her nostrils as she massaged her temple.
Dragging her feet downstairs, she positioned herself at the window of the cabin to the only known entryway to come up and down to the cabin, well to her knowledge; of course. Slipping her hand into her pants pocket, her fingers fumble over the edges of the two phones inside taking out the smaller one.
Opened the contact list to the only contact visible on the disposable phone in her palm. The name Givon Beligan took up most of the screen as it rang, the caller on the other side picked up on the second ring.
"If it isn't Riko, what pleasure do I have to be speaking to you on this fine day? hmmm" he teased, a slight slur to his words.
"Are you drunk?" she questioned, a frown adorning her facial structure.
"I'm still sober enough to speak to you, darling, so don't worry too much about me" he flirted back.
"I wasn't tho" she muttered.
He hummed in response on the other line as the sound of glass clanking and being poured into resonated through the speaker of her phone.
She kept her eyes on the lookout for anyone; mostly Daichi on the trail, to prepare herself just in case.
"A little birdy told me, you got a souvenir to your face recently....." he recalled.
"All thanks to you of course Givon, but......" she trailed off.
"Things have gone off track a little, he sent me in hiding as of today" she informed, glaring at the grass at the thought of Rayon.
The male on the other line's jaw clenched at the thought of that garbage having what should have been his, but this time he gave him an opening to just take her from his grasp. And he won't let that opportunity pass him, ever.
"I see, What would you like me to do for you this time?" he inquired, tapping his fingers on his desk.
"A week from now, go public with the information on that thumb drive I gave you last, I want it everywhere you could think of as much as possible." she requested passively, fighting the grip she has on the phone.
" Consider it done, Lina" he replied, smiling from ear to ear.
"But, what will my reward be for putting my people in danger for you, Riko" he pondered, swirling the glass of alcohol in his hand, smiling as he stared at its content.
"Whatever you desire, Beligan" she replied, staring at the once blue sky as it turned orange.
"Anything I desire you say, then I want you, all to myself~" he countered.
It's as if his voice was lowered by a few sounding gravelly when he spoke to her, she felt it as if he were there breathing down her neck it sent a shiver down her spine. It took a moment to process his request, and when it did her face flushed as the tips of her ear turned red.
"FucK you!" she exclaimed, covering the lower half of her face, trying to hide her embarrassment.
"If you insist" He teased, a smirk adorned his face on the other line.
'Oh, how I wish I could see your face right about now' he thought, downing his drink in one gulp.
At, that last statement her whole face to her collarbone turned red.
'Why I'm I blushing like a school girl ' she thought in frustration.
"Don't light yourself on fire to keep others warm, Riko" He whispered before ending the call.
"I know it all too well" she spoke out to no one in particular.
.........................
A sigh escaped her lips as she got to her feet from her sitting position on the couch. She made her way upstairs to one of the rooms she picked at random, going through the contents of her belonging to find a suitable change of clothing to retire for the day after taking a bath.
"What a hassle" her cheeks puffed up as she sigh, running her hand through her now oily hair.
She stripped herself of her sweat-drenched outfit as she stepped under the hot running water of the shower. She scrubbed her skin of the dirt that she accumulated throughout the day from her tiring activity, then washed her hair clean, doing her best to avoid the bandaged gash on her cheek to the best of her ability.
She dried herself off, changing into long sleeve pajama top and pants to suit the cold temperature of the cabin. Brushing out the tangles from her hair wet hair before searching for a blow dryer.
" There you are" she cheered picking up the device and plugging it in.
After drying her hair fully, she lay on the bed near the window as she stare into the trees that surround her, isolating her from others with only a man she barely knows to keep her company, with her lonesome. She stared into the deeps of the trees as the sky slowly turns darker, the sway of the trees and breeze lulled her to sleep.
A few minutes after a male silhouette walked into the room towards the sleeping Angelina, glancing at her before walking out again, and returning five minutes later with the first aid in tow.
"You worked yourself dry" he whispered, redressing the bandaging on her cheek.
