3rd Pov
"I uhh, I'm sorry for your loss" he hurriedly spoke, waving his frantically stuttering apologies left and right.
'He looks like a puppy '. The random thought popped up in her head as she watched the frantic male.
' A really sad puppy.' She pondered,
Alec used his pointer finger to scratch his cheek out of nervousness as he repeatedly apologized.
' Now I feel like an asshat ' Alec thought unintentionally pouting.
" No you don't need to apologize at all you weren't at fault so don't think much about " Angelina stopped him mid-apology.
Angelina felt like she was sweating a bucket load or the temperature in the room went up a couple of degrees.
' Maybe it's because I just lied through my teeth ' she thought using her hand to fan herself.
She looked in Daichi's direction which confirmed her thoughts, the blond-haired male looked flabbergasted or confused either way his brows were netted in frown lines.
' Yeah, it's definitely because I lied. ' pouting because she felt guilty even more as she watched Alec as he panic like a chicken without his head.
Daichi on the other hand felt like he was dunked with cold water, as he stared at her contemplating why on earth she lied like that, ' did she want her husband gone that bad? '
' Poor guy.' He thought looking at his frantic friend knocking stuff over due to Angelina's drama scene.
"At least let me make you a drink to make up for it, on the house. " Alec proposed as he proceeded to ignore Angelina's protest with a wide smile spread across his lips.
' I could go blind any minute now. ' She thought unconsciously smiling along the happy-go-lucky personality of Alec.
" Don't even bother he'd do it whether you said yes or no. " Daichi whispered into Angelina's ear startling her as her shoulders tensed momentarily.
' You don't say. ' she thought sarcastically sighing as she takes in the room.
She watched Alec as he shook two metal cups together as he spoke happily with other customers at the counter. The atmosphere in the room gave Angelina deja vu of those times she used to spend her summer break with her nonna when she was younger. She could just imagine herself with her nonna cuddled up in blanks by the fire sipping hot chocolate as those hot summer nights got chilly once the sunset.
' I haven't been there in a long while, I hope nonna's well. ' she thought nervously tapping her fingers on the counter mindlessly.
' Should visit her soon hopefully when I sort this mess out. ' she pondered nibbling at her bottom lip.
