Each episode would feature alone time with a certain boy. Since there was an uneven number, three would have to be jammed into the third episode. The introduction had too much going on as it was so only 2 could be aired, and the second episode was the same way. They were hoping to utilize the three alone time segments to build tension in the third episode. So, whether her alone time with Jungkook would be aired in the first, second, or third episode was outside her knowledge.

Jungkook had asked her the question over a dozen times in the past hour. Each time, she gave the same answer. That led her to where they were currently. On a... boat? Y/n blinked and glanced around the yacht that was smaller than she expected, but more elegant than anything she owned since she quit showbiz.

The older man in front of her seemed more anxious than she did, and she was returning to the place she hated most: reality TV. Although it put her off, she attempted to try and salvage the mini 'date' by offering him a glass of water from the bar she was standing at. He shook her off and continued to stare out at the ocean, the railings not far if he wanted to rush up and get a closer look.

Y/n grimaced and kept herself behind the bar, her hands trembling as she clutched the surface. For some reason, each 'date' had to be more extravagant than the last. Deep down, it made sense to her. It amped up the possibilities for aesthetic shots the cinematographer was setting up now. There were cameras all around them, producers shouting lines to them in case they needed a talking point. Jungkook ignored them and kept himself focused on the outside. Y/n was the complete opposite.

"You're staring at the ocean like it's gonna bite you," she said, leaning across the marble bar top. His leg bounced up and down on the ground, the stool he was planted on shaking because of the movements.

"I am scared of rabies, so I'd rather not get bitten." He paused, turning to her. "Please laugh. I thought that was a funny joke."

She did fake a laugh, him shifting his gaze away and not listening to any directions Carson was giving. Speaking of, the other boys were there too, also getting directions. However, they weren't where Jungkook and Y/n were. The boys were a B plot at the moment, with Taehyung and Jimin having a scripted fight near the boiler room. They were going to knock some shit over and cause a scene that Hoseok would eventually have to break up. The producers wanted to have a story arc where Taehyung and Jimin went from enemies to friends, which the two were doing a good job at selling. They loved each other off camera, but on camera, they were down each other's throats.

Part of Y/n wished she could be down there with them. Not just because Jungkook wasn't being helpful to make the shooting go smoothly. It was also because she wanted to get away from the smell of salt. The area they were was covered, so luckily no sun was burning down on them. But that was where the positives ended. Despite being in an empty bar (minus the camera crew and director) with more drinks than she could count, nothing could take off the edge she felt.

"You look like the ocean is your worst enemy. You're looking a bit sick there. Do you get sea sick?" Jungkook asked, and his voice had a bit of sweetness in it. That was only for the camera. Y/n didn't need to be best buds with Jungkook to know his natural tone didn't sound anything like that.

"No, I just hate the ocean. I um... I hate swimming."

"Why?"

"To amp up drama on a show I was on when I was younger, we shot this dangerous scene where I would be in the ocean, almost submerged if it weren't for the people who saved me. Ever since, I've been too scared of it. I mean, I almost died. How could I ever go in the ocean and not see that day where I had to go to the hospital because of a stupid TV show scene? And all for drama."
