Episode 1 filming wrapped up after a week and two days. They got stock footage, confessionals for the first episode, introductions, challenges, and more. Y/n didn't care much about the filming process, it was more how it was edited together that determined how the project would turn out. Editing really did change everything. Good editing was unnoticeable. Poor editing was, uh... pretty easy to spot.

It was the second week at the mansion, and over the weekend, Y/n went back to her sister. She gossiped about the crew she was working with, but she made sure to leave out how she was constantly thinking about Jimin, Namjoon, and Jungkook. She also stretched the truth. Y/n told her little sister she wasn't having any fun, or enjoying her time. To make sure Angelica didn't feel bad, she reassured her that it wasn't awful or bad. It was only okay. Not good, not bad - nothing extreme. Just something she had to do, but it wasn't hard to do either.

But that was one big fat lie.

Y/n found herself loving the mansion, the lights, the cameras, the makeup, and most importantly - her co-stars. All of them had traits to like, and Y/n wasn't blind: they were all attractive. She would never complain about staying in a rich mansion with 7 attractive men... competing for her. Wow. Fake or not, that was still one helluva thought. 7 men were competing for her. She didn't need to walk out of there with a man, but it was still flattering whether she actually liked the attention or not.

However, there was one tiny problem. Today she was filming her one-on-one with Jimin, and that would lead to issues for obvious reasons. If she couldn't even glance at him, how was she supposed to film alone time with him? And obviously, he was going to ask questions about why she had been avoiding him. She couldn't blame it on being busy: he saw her all day long, he'd know she was lying. Well, the best liars tell the most truth possible. So that was what Y/n planned to do... probably.

The front of the mansion was as packed as ever, the boys hanging around the patio and drinking. Jimin caught her eye, and their gazes locked for a beat too long. She moved on and went to Jungkook instead. He perked up upon her approach, and a soft smile blessed his lips. Despite the distraction, she could still feel Jimin's stare on her. Y/n did her best to ignore it, and she snatched Jungkook's drink right out of his hand.

"Ew, I don't want your cooties," Jungkook said, and Y/n blinked at him.

"You... think I have cooties?" she asked.

"Obviously. All girls have cooties."

"So you've never dated a woman before?"

"No, but I've dated men before."

Y/n wasn't even surprised, and Jungkook beamed when Y/n gave the cup back to him. "What is it anyway?" Y/n asked, pointing to the red container that was the cliché college party cup.

"Banana milk," he replied, taking a swig of it. He got some of it on his lips, and he licked it off with his doe eyes shimmering in the sun. Jungkook wasn't the innocent man he pretended to be for the cameras. The cameras that, in that moment, were rolling to see if any drama would start. Jungkook had those wide eyes and cute lips that anyone would believe, even if he was blatantly lying. That was what made him a dangerous competitor. He could lie his way out of any situation, and since he was introverted, he sunk to the background and never made a scene. In a way, it was like he was invisible. At any moment he could slip away, and no one would know where he went or what he was doing. Y/n had to admit she admired his strategy.

"People who drink milk scare me," Y/n said, and Jungkook held an offended hand over his heart.

"Do I scare you in a good way? Are we talking in a 'you're a scary competitor' thing, or a Michael Myers thing?"
