The producers chose Yoongi's alone time with Y/n very... strangely. Namjoon and her went to a fancy museum, her and Tae went to a fancy restaurant, her and Jungkook were literally on a yacht, her and Hoseok went to a music festival, and the list went on. Yoongi and her was a different story. They were at a bar. Not a high end bar. Just a regular bar Y/n could find back home. She wasn't complaining, but it was certainly an interesting decision.

Yoongi sipped from his drink, Y/n observing him. She had one in front of her as well. Whiskey, on the rocks. She didn't quite catch what Yoongi ordered since he said it so fast, and the color was dark enough she could have confused it with many other liquors. She wasn't an alcohol expert, but she had experience with it throughout her handful of years she had been able to drink. The age gap between her and Yoongi was showing based on the way he was drinking carefully and thoughtfully. Meanwhile Y/n just wanted to make sure the drink went down.

"You don't talk much. You're just like Taehyung. I'm assuming you both don't like me?" she asked, and Yoongi shrugged her off.

"I don't like you, but I don't dislike you either. Free alcohol is why I'm here. Lord knows I could use a break from paying for my drinks. After all, I'm not exactly rich."

"This show will help with that, right?" He tilted his head back and forth, signaling the answer was in between. She let him get back to his drink, her returning to hers as well. There weren't any people there other than Yoongi, Y/n, and the bartender. Oh, and how could she forget the lovely camera crew breathing down their necks. Jen was off at the mansion, likely conducting a subplot for the viewers to watch while Y/n was on her date with Yoongi. She wondered how the editors would compile it together. She'd hate to be a TV show or movie editor. All those clips, labeled or not, must be stressful to identify and put in the right spots.

If she had to choose a spot on the crew, she'd love to take over Carson's directing job. It'd be cool to be the one calling the shots on a show instead of looking at a script. It'd be a nice change of pace for her. And a challenge. Y/n liked challenges, that was why she had the courage to quit reality TV in the first place. Directing was one of the hardest jobs in the art world, in her opinion. They had to manage more than people thought. It wasn't just setting up the shot, it was sitting in the editing room and supervising the project, getting shot lists, making storyboards, supervising the writers, working with the cinematographer to get the thematic style they were going for, directing actors to guide them to a better performance. The list went on and on, but Y/n was up for the challenge. She doubted she'd ever get that chance, but hey, a girl could dream.

"Alright, I've given you time to brood. We need to give the cameras something. The quicker you give them good footage, the quicker we can drink in silence," she said, and just like that, Yoongi beamed to life.

"What would you like to talk about, then?"

"How about something about you."

When she went to drink, Yoongi leaned forward and lowered her glass from her hand, allowing their eyes to lock. "I'm actually much more curious about you. Tell me something about yourself."

"That may be the most broad conversation topic I've ever heard," she said, and he chuckled, going back to his drink for a moment. The glass clinked against the counter a beat later, and he turned his full attention to her. Funny, it didn't feel like acting. It felt as though he had curiosity, and that curiosity was focused on her at that moment. So, she indulged in her fantasy. "A lot of my life is determined by my parents, and countless people see me as shallow because of that. Taehyung among them."

"Do you think you deserve that label? Shallow, I mean."

"I do, to be honest." His eyes dilated, but he motioned for her to explain. "It's hard not to feel that way, right? I spent my childhood surrounded by riches and beauty. I didn't have some tragic childhood, it was just not something I wanted. So, I left. Angelica deserved to be free from that life, and I took her with me. My parents told me that if that was what I wanted, I could do it. It was the first decision I ever made for myself. And since then, it's been about the only good decision I've made. If I can't even make a good decision and take control of my life, then maybe I really do need to be babied by my parents. Maybe the riches and treats were my style. The day I was born I became shallow, and I'm still working to earn the removal of that label."
