"Wait, what?"

Jen tilted her head at Y/n's question. "We're having a murder mystery party. You and the boys will dress up according to our theme, and you'll have to figure out who the killer is. We're bringing Hoseok back for a bit to play the first victim," she said, Y/n staring at her.

"I'm grateful Hoseok's coming back, but what does a murder mystery party tell me about my potential suitors?"

"How observant they are."

"I've been living with them for months now. Jen, they aren't very observant. The only thing they take time to stare at are Namjoon's tits. I highly doubt this will go well."

"Even better," Jen said with a smile. "We could use the drama. My paycheck is gonna be fat thanks to how good we've been doing so far. Lots of drama. The editors tell me that it keeps getting better and better as the season goes on." At Y/n's hesitance, Jen sighed and came closer. "I already apologized to him privately, but it's only fair I tell you too. I'm sorry about Jimin's parents. You're right, it was wrong for me to do. I got too caught up in the drama that I forgot what's most important."

"And what is most important?"

"You. All of you. I know I'm only your host, but I do care about you. I'm truly sorry, Y/n. I shouldn't have done it, and I kicked them off the set. If you want to yell at me, I'll take it. Do whatever you have to do."

"I'm pretty sure Yoongi already ripped you a new one."

She laughed, her eyes crinkling as she grinned. "He left thirty-seven angry voicemails telling me to never mess with Jimin again."

"This is why I love Yoongi," Y/n said in a dreamy tone, both her and Jen sharing a laugh at that. When they calmed down, Y/n placed her hand on Jen's shoulder. "I wish I could forgive you, but it's not my place. It's Jimin's decision, not mine. If he chose to forgive you, then I will too."

"He did. I didn't deserve his kindness, but he did. He's a good man, I see why you're so in love with him."

"Ugh, not you too. Come on, we were having a moment."

Jen winked. "It's quite literally my job to be Cupid. Now come on, the boys will be here any minute. Help me separate these cards."

And that was what Y/n did. They were in the living room, the lights dim for dramatic effect while the camera crew moved around to set up the perfect shots. The cards had everyone's roles on them. It was random, so anyone could be the killer. They were designed like tarot cards, maroon surfaces with fancy text on the inside detailing what their role would be. Y/n was thrilled. Although these past few weeks had been anything but fun, she was glad they were doing something that could lighten the mood. Besides, Jin was an actor. This was right up his alley.

Two minutes later, the boys were debriefed on the game and what they had to do. Hoseok was present and doing stretches as if he was about to perform for them. In a way, he was. He was about to play dead. Well, good for him. That meant he got a damn easy paycheck.

"Alright, someone get the clapperboard. Get ready for filming. Places everyone," Jen said, Carson directing the contestants to stand around the table that held the cards. Seconds later, they were live, Jen greeting America with a smile. "Welcome back to the Bachelors. Today, we're going to host a murder mystery party. The contestants will randomly choose a card to see their role. The remaining contestants will have to work together to find out who the killer is. If they don't find the killer in time, the killer will win by killing all the contestants. Hoseok is joining us to play the victim." Hoseok waved to the camera, and Jen turned to the contestants. "Are you ready?"
