The other cobras were already back at the house when Oceane, Austin and Hugo returned. Oceane took AJ from the pram as Hugo sorted it out.

They all walked into the living room as Ace jumped up to walk over to her. He took AJ from her as she leant up to give him a kiss, sensing some form of tension.

"Are you okay?" She asked quietly as she pulled away slowly and looked around at the others.

They all seemed on edge.

Ace nodded quickly. "Yeah course baby, why?"

Oceane stared at him before turning to Charlie.

"What's going on?" She almost snapped her question.

"Nothing ma'am." He quickly blurted out.

Oceane took a step closer to Charlie. "Tell me now."

Charlie quickly shook his head. "There's nothing to tell you ma'am."

"Why don't you go take AJ for a nap?" Austin quickly said as he moved himself in front of Charlie.

Oceane turned her glare up at him.

"AJ?" Eyeball asked curiously.

Hugo shrugged. "Figured this way we could say Austin and know we're talking about him." He replied as he pointed to Austin. "Austin John, AJ." He finished as he gestured to the infant in Ace's arms.

"I fucking hate you all." Oceane snapped as she looked around at the cobras.

Walking back over to Ace, she scooped up her son and was out of the room before they could even question it.

Hugo and Austin shared a quiet laugh.

"You're officially her security team." Hugo said as he gestured to them all.

"She's never-" Eyeball mumbled as he sat down slowly.

"You get used to it." Austin shook his comment off as he sat down on the arm of the sofa.

"When she finally says she hates you, it means you're doing your job right." Hugo remarked as Charlie stood up so he could sit down.

"She's never said she hates us before." Billy mumbled quietly.

Hugo and Austin nodded. "Welcome to the team." They said in sync with a laugh.

Ace shrugged. "She's told me she hates me before." He replied as he sat back down on the floor.

"What'd you do?" Hugo asked.

"Had a nightmare and kinda kicked her so hard she fell out the bed." Ace mumbled, almost like he didn't actually want to admit it.

Hugo and Austin just laughed.

"Yeah can't see her being thankful for that." Hugo mumbled.

"So come on then, spill it." Austin said as he leant back slightly.

"Spill what?" Vince blurted out as he shuffled slightly.

Austin and Hugo both looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Spill it before I beat it out of you with one arm." Austin spoke firmer.

Ace sighed as he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a newspaper clipping.

He stretched out and offered it to Hugo. He took it and walked over to Austin and the pair scanned it over.

It was one of the many news articles announcing Oceane and Ace's engagement. Various parts of the story had been underlined.
