Coffee shop part 4

1 year later

"Nick wake up we're meeting Tao and Elle today ." Charlie said nudging nick who wouldn't wake up. "Mhmm ok gimme a kiss first." Nick said poking out his lips. Charlie pecked his lips. " come on then get up !"
Nick and Charlie have been together almost a year now. Life was going great for the pair nick moved into Charlie's flat , they had both met each others immediate family. They were loving life. Nick decided that on their one year anniversary he was going to propose. You may think it sounds stupid but nick adored Charlie he would do anything for him and he wanted them to get married. Charlie felt the exact same and really hoped that Nick would propose soon . "Ok I'm getting up ." Nick said whilst sitting up and walking to the bathroom. Charlie blushed when he saw Nick get out of bed in just his boxers when he remembered the events of last night . "Char" nick shouted from the bathroom. " yesss" Charlie replied.
"Come here quick." Charlie groaned and got up walking to the bathroom. Nick hugged him and set him down on the counter "I love you" nick said to Charlie with his face in his neck. "I love you too ." Charlie said giggling. "Why are you so touchy today." Charlie asked not minding that he was touchy but just wanted to know.
"Because I loveee youuu." Nick said dragging out his words. Charlie just giggled and jumped down from the counter to brush his teeth. Nick doing the same. " so where are we meeting Tao and Elle." Nick asked spitting into the sink.
" at the restaurant down town." Charlie responded after he finished brushing his teeth.
"Oki doki ." Nick said following Charlie out of the bathroom. Nick didn't know why but he just wanted to hug Charlie , to be near him to touch him a lot today. "Nick what are you doing, I need to get dressed." Charlie said trying to get nick of off him. Nick had his arms wrapped around Charlie's waist and was softly kissing his neck. " can we just stay like this for a minuet , please ." Nick asked turning Charlie around to face him. Charlie rested his head on nicks chest. "Fine but only for a minuet." Nick smiled gleefully.

Nick and Charlie were getting their shoes on Charlie was tying his laces when e felt a smack to his bum. "Nickkkk" Charlie whined all day he had been clingy Charlie obviously didn't mind but he was wondering where it all came from. Nick laughed and started to put his shores on. Before they left Charlie went up to nick with his arms around nicks neck and nicks arms around his waist. "Why are you so touchy and clingy today not that I'm mad about it." Charlie asked. Nick just looked into Charlie's eyes then down to his lips. "No reason I just really love you, anddd our one year is in two days so I wanted to show you how much I love you char ." Charlie didn't say anything and just kissed him. The kiss was short but the pair knew how much love was between them. "I love you to Nicholas." Charlie said teasing him knowing Nick always got annoyed when Charlie said it. Nick looked at him in the eyes telling him to stop. "Come on we have to go Nicholas." Charlie said again. "Charlie" nick said warning him. "Ok ,ok I'm sorry baby I won't say it again." Charlie agreed.
They both headed out the door into nicks car.

They were both now walking into the restaurant hand in hand. Both with a cheesy smile on their faces. Anyone would think they were mad they way they were smiling at each other. "Coffee boy" nick heard behind him. He turned around knowing who it was. "Tao, long time mate, how you been." He asked walking towards their table pulling a chair out for Charlie. "Yeah we're good , what you two been up to." Tao asked holding Elles hand on the table. Nick looked at their hands and smiled happy for his friends. "Not much , apart from nick being extremely clingy today. Oh and it's our one year anniversary in two days." Charlie said nudging nick and laughing. Nick blushed at what Charlie said.
They continued talking about their lives and plans for the future when Charlie said." I'm going to the bathroom." Nick watched as he left making sure he was gone. " I need to tell you guys something ."Nick said looking between Tao and Elle . They looked at him waiting for him to carry on. " I want to propose to Charlie ," Elle squealed at what nick said"sorry carry on."
" like I said I want to propose to Charlie on our 1 year anniversary I'm going to do it at the coffee shop we're we first met." Tao and Elle wee smiling. "Wow you are so cheesy." Tao joked Elle hit his arm."leave him alone I think it's romantic." Elle said reassuring nick.
Charlie came out of the bathroom and sat back down. " what's made you lot so happy then." Charlie asked looking at the group. " oh nothing Nick just told us a joke." Elle said to Charlie. Nick put his hand on Charlie's thigh. " well I think we best be leaving me and Tao have some shopping to do." Elle said winking at nick. "Yeah ok ." Charlie said standing up to hug Elle and Tao goodbye. "See you soon." Tao said walking away with Elle. Nick grabbed Charlie's hand and spun him around before catching him in his arms and giving him a kiss. "I love you" Charlie said to nick. "I love you too." They both got in their car and headed back home, Nick thinking about what ring to buy Charlie and Charlie wondering what he did to deserve such a loving boyfriend.
